I like tommy. He is probably the best guitarist living today..or at least one of the top 5. But having said that I think he sometimes "over embellishes" the songs. He veres away from the melody line to much for my taste. For example on "Stevies Blues" I like the recorded version better. In this version he wonders off and it sounds far too different from the original. Still an amazing guitarist...one of my heros.

The guy gets every single note ring loudly improvising like that, he's a monster. I only have been able to play his simplified version of this song.
