Troopers gonna win, cuz all they do is spam 1 button, and when meele gets close they knock you back slows, and keep doing it. I'm level 20 sith assassin and I can never kill them unless I'm group. Only way to kill trooper meele wise is to gank them, other wise 1vs1 trooper always wins.
@KmFThEGameR I'm a 23 Sith Assassin. I have no problem beating a Vanguard. And commandos are easy too. You have force sprint when they knock you back. You also have Black Out and Force Cloak when they get too far away. Give your assassin 2 more levels. :)

@Tumle2007 Medium armor I guess would classify as leather, which is the Operative(Imperial Agent). Lot's of knife attacks with poisons and such as most stealth characters have in most games. The assassin wears light armor, but gets a heavy % boost when they go tank spec, they aren't squishy at all. Assassin is more about spike dmg from behind, I haven't played Op too much to comment, but it has poisons and such and uses knives/blaster. It's a melee character though.
I'm a Commando, but all classes are balanced and the Assasin has stealth. She can easily interrupt the heals or just do more damage in the time the Commando heals.

Im a VANGUARD level 33 for the moment. Sith players are good, but being a guy with a gun and no powers i pack one hell of a punch against the Sith. I had seen my self taking head on several sith players and taking 2 to 3 down before going down. I will burn you, slow you down, freeze you, gut you, hammer u wuth my gun, open a volley of fire on your azz as you burn and slow down down. @captianjoel no personally i prefered the story of the assassin and i think if u got a average assassin player against an average commando player the assassin would win at level 30 the assassin has 5 abilitys that disrupt moves so the commando is limited to its usable abilitys already and if the assassin did start to lose it has an ability to instantly leave the battle so it could just get its health back up and try again
The Commando has a better range and the Assasin can't disrupt his moves, that's just bullshit. They can stun me, but then I just use tenacity. They can't leave the battle, that's just bs. I have enough stunning abilities. Stealth is not doing me anything, because I have stealth scan. And if you try to kill me, I just stun you and then heal.

Commando is alot better. I have played a Jedi Knight, but it was boring as hell, that proves that melee classes suck. I have a Sith Sorcerer and it's fun, but assasin is a melee class, so it's boring.

Swtor ain't a Clone of Wow. If you play it, then you will notice it's alot better. Most people think it's a clone, before they play it. Wow doesn't even have a story and a bad combat system. @LichKingLives I do play it i have a level 28 sith sorcerer lightning dps, and a level 10 of every other class. I played wow for an hour but i honestly couldn't take any more it was painfull.

Assassins can kill troopers, but there's some build out there that apparently makes troopers incredibly overpowered to the point where on the opposite faction you have people advertising if you see this list of names, don't engage.
On a side note I just wish my inquisitor companions were more interesting... I enjoyed Vette and Jaesa so much more, even Quinn honestly.
Im a sith sorc and I destroy troopers pretty easily even the 50s even though im not a 50. Light armor isnt really that weak especially considering the assassin can be a tanking class.

Swtor ain't a Clone of Wow. If you play it, then you will notice it's alot better. Most people think it's a clone, before they play it. Wow doesn't even have a story and a bad combat system. The abilities on Wow are really crap and it takes too long before you can attack again + the graphics are cartoonish.

I'm not saying swtor is better for that reason at all. You're clutching yourself to that one argument as you're pretty much cornered by everyones counter arguments like your life depends on it. It's just ONE out of several reasons wow belongs way in the past and it's a fine part of the complete apathy that is blizzard. SWTOR is also better because of the innovative leveling system mirror class/warzone system, and the fact that the customer service is actually good

ToR has stole my heart more I'm on the 12month plan of wow and subed for ToR i keep coming back on to wow just to say hi to friends and do a dungoen but ToR is sooo much better compared to current time WoW, its intresting and fun and yes its a WoW clone what makes it just that better cause its easy to get use to but WoW has a story failure and dungoen failure and the community is getting worse.

Assassins can kill troopers, but there's some build out there that apparently makes troopers incredibly overpowered to the point where on the opposite faction you have people advertising if you see this list of names, don't engage.
On a side note I just wish my inquisitor companions were more interesting... I enjoyed Vette and Jaesa so much more, even Quinn honestly.

Im a sith sorc and I destroy troopers pretty easily even the 50s even though im not a 50. Light armor isnt really that weak especially considering the assassin can be a tanking class.
