Dude, all u need to do is replace the bolt that goes through the rubber caseing. U dont have to cut the whole thing off. I replaced the bolt just the other day for the same exact reason, because it was poping out of the side of the battery
matters new cables or terminals... do it your self go buy a set of cables for your model of car. and then pay the local redneck 20 dollars to do it... shoulf b under 50 dollars for parts
@DannysCam hey my dad has a truck just like that..... and when u go and press on the gas pedal its stiff.... then when u press it harder the car jumps forward... whats the problem?
Thanks so much for posting this...I have a Grand Am with side terminals and mine were quite corroded. I never would have attempted this had I not seen how you did it. Thanks!
ohh so now i know its with older chevys great trucks though for sure no lie there ok thanks for the info man hope you get your ford running and thanks for the reply
1994 chevy full sized its a good truck. only had to do small stuff with it. had to replace the water pump once and other then that its never bean a problem. chevys do last longer and need less work then fords lol my ford stopped runing again.. i think the starter might be bad..
does the fuel gauge in that move around alot when you hit a bump or something? my bros 94 sierra does that even going up hill his fuel gauge goes to full or empty and doesnt tewll an accurate reading
when the battery would come unconnected the fuel gauge and other gauges would move alot. but some times after that it would still start but finaly it got pretty bad. so now the gauges do move a little when going up hills but not as much as they did

Watching you do this reminded me of the day I saw my dad run a hacksaw half way through his finger. Blood everywhere, after a moment of stupidity.

Thanks man! I didn't get to see exactly how you attached the wiring, but I assume it's just the main wire and a ground wire. Wish me luck! lol
