  • My cat was watching this video with me and even he said 'no fucking way!'

  • asian power

  • aSIANS

  • It's the asians....

  • This is one strong, strong guy.

  • what is that in inches? (i'm too lazy to do the conversion myself :P )

  • really ..

1.35 max but = nice job!

  • Jelly... So jelly.

  • now thats impressive..

  • that's crazy man

  • explosive as fuck

  • kangaroo ;)

  • but will he blend?

  • this is one of the most impressive things iv seen on you tube.

    good job

  • go to 0:18 if you appreciate your time

  • what the fuck... you remind me of a flying squirrel

  • woaaah!? how did he get up there?=O

  • Nice.

  • awesome video

  • Beast!

  • "nono, have a phhheen, LIKE A SOMEBOOOOOOOOOODEIIII"

  • This is the highest standing box jump I've seen. Higher than Ryan Moody's I believe, and he claims the world record. You should go for it.

  • Will it blend?

  • can you dunk?!

  • what a leap!

  • His jumping on a platform that's pretty unstable, nearly at his height and with a very small room for landing on.

That's impressive to say the least.

  • Please stature of the boy, or an address to talk to really appreciate it a lot

  • He is 5'5

  • Hi, I just want to know q stature is his brother, I wish I could jump as well, I measure 160cm, really would greatly appreciate your response.

  • what are his numbers now?

  • what the fuck??

  • i can jump on all the yellow ones on there

  • Chinese cangaru....lol....

  • @Wolfshamil Kangaroo* ?

  • FEZZZZZZZZZ

  • wow 25 cm higher then my record and Im pretty tall too:P

  • A legit box jump would involve a landing ontop of the box, instead of landing on the side of the plate and having your momentum lift your body the rest of the way. Still a very high jump though

  • @w0rsel You are better to shut your mouth since all of us know that you are a keyboard athlete who pretends to be an expert.

  • @TailorBell Why would you comment if you didn't have any sort of constructive/logical response to me? Clearly what I said was true, and the reason I said that 5 months ago was because I was finding my max in much the very same way and I found that I could keep increasing the height even though I knew that it was only my momentum throwing me up top.

  • wow, i watched your other vids, gotta say, you dudes are seriously athletic. Definitely will put your vids as inspirational vids to watch and get pumped before sessions.

    thanks for sharing

  • Now that is cool. Fk Justin Bieber, this is talent.

  • is this the wolrd record! not ryan moody!

  • holy shit, thats all ive got to say, you must clean and jerk a hell of a lot of weight, and ur exposive power is to be envied

    nice jump

  • can you dunk man?

  • nice stuff

  • chinesse

  • that's some crazy shit!

  • 00:06 super saiyan hahaha

  • its 5 feet thats crazy

  • asian bruder got ups

  • man you are a fucking beast how old are you

  • i didnt think it was possible! when he made the yell at the start tho i knew he was serious, so impressive

  • that just doesnt look like a good idea

  • Amazing! ! ! :-O

  • NICE MAN !!!

  • In my experience I just started with an hour of jumping up a hill and then gradually increased it to eight hours of jumping with 100 lbs of weights on my back.

  • @Hegemonia20 you're gonna kill your knees

  • I betcha you can do it with one leg in a year if you train really hard

  • I don't mean to hate but your measuring tape is not perpendicular to the floor. It's slanted. It's an epic jump nonetheless but if you're going to post stats it should be done correctly.

  • One of the most athletic amateur videos on youtube.

  • NICE!

  • watchin this video was part of the reason i started using the olympic lifts (my speed and vert have gone up easy). 40yd-4.5, Squat-144kg, Vert-36inches @ 74kg

  • @Viginiaboy Nice mate, always good to see more olifters kicking about! Very nice vert mate!

  • @Viginiaboy

    How old are you ?

  • Damn! I only have a 31.5 inch vertical. He freakin jumped almost his height. I can't even do that.

  • just cus hes short as

  • thats talent

  • Why do people come on youtube and start telling others how much they can squat, clean, etc... ?

  • wow just simply wow!

  • oh fuck m8! omfg, amazing@@

  • beh, impressionante...

  • Crazy!!!

  • sick!

  • It's at least 95cm, he can grab a 10foot rim

  • what is his workout plan???

  • But really, his vertical is about 20 inches haha

  • He has a 34 inch vertical. He has a double bodyweight front squat (his back squat is even better then), and does olympic lifting. So I don't why would you think that he has a 20 inch vertical other than that you're a jealous keyboard warrior.

  • Oh, then he definitely didn't even use all of his vertical for this jump then haha, pause the video at the beginning when he's standing behind it, then pause it at his max height and compare the difference of height for his head, it's definitely under a 2 foot difference, so I'm thinking he could probably do 170cm if he used his full vertical.

  • Comment removed

  • Nahhh, I've box jumped, I do a sport called freerunning, I definitely know about tucking legs in and everything haha.

I guess that'd make sense that you don't use your whole vertical now that I think about it :D

  • agreed...has a lot to do with how flexibility of the athlete as well...not to say its not impressive! But there are some with great vertical who can't tuck onto a box

  • true, it was pretty horizontal, i wonder what his pure vert is, defintely mid 40 standing, very impressive

  • oh wow it says 87 cm, which is only 34 inches, which I do not believe, gotta be more like 40-45

  • @ytubeserb i have 33 inches vert with a 1,7x times my bw in a back squat... there is a limit to the overload you need to max your strength in the jum.... then it's more specific training... and yes, the guy is a beast

  • Comment removed

  • @alejandrothefader That's why I mentioned that he does olympic lifting as well. He's involved in explosive training on a daily basis, and by that he's increasing his rate of force development. He's decreasing his explosive strength deficit, so he's using more of that potential brought by that big squat. There, I clarified my comment. I removed my previous comment because it was posted by an account that was logged in on a computer that I was using, just to that you won't be confused. Cheers

  • I thought it was clear what I meant. I dare anyone to find a light guy, who squats more than 2bw, snatches 1.5, and cleans 2bw, and has only 20 inch vertical like the guy who I replied to claimed that the guy on the video has. With those numbers, you will have a good jump and he does.

  • Hell, screw the bodyweight. A good olympic lifter at any bodyweight has a great jump. Same goes for most throwers.

  • @ytubeserb yes, i agree with you, don't get mad at me... any way to get results on my vertical fast? i need to get to 40!!!!!!!

  • nasty!

  • griobanye kitajcy

  • this guy is a ninja!!!

  • unbelievable

  • damn

  • impresive :) iam 15 years old and i can jump on 100>> cm obstacle you can watch in my videos.btw 5*

  • sorry chris-dwain chambers done 157.5cm :P but urs is amazin anyway ;)

  • Chambers had a run-up though.

  • Ivan Tikhon vertical jumped 105cm what's best?

  • dwain chamers can actually do 172cm.

  • Damn I wish I had better genetics when it comes to speed, jumping, etc :Q ...

Fortunately we can all get stronger and more powerful still :> . Back to the gym and more squatting I guess!

  • he need to learn how to skate so he can get the new world record for highest ollie

  • Very impressive!

  • Wow!Awesome

  • holy shit....

  • Chicago Bulls need to sign this guy right away

  • omfg wtf holy shit...

    THATS LIFE HAX!!!!!!!!

  • Front Squat: 142Kg @ 69Kg Snatch 97Kg C&J 125Kg... awesome leap! never could do that myself even my front squat is 150!! snatched 95 and clean&jerked 125 @69 also. keep on going man!

  • He's done 102/133 @ 69kg now and front squated 154kg

  • Fantastic athlete and clear evidence of great coaching as well! Koing, I know you've mentioned it on Fortified Iron but how long has your bro been training for?

  • seriously... whaaat? mario can go fuck himself, you take his cap!

  • this guy must be a flippin mexican...lol

  • Are you going to fulda cup?

  • Ö_ö

  • Fucking hell... How often do you/your bro do verticle jumps like that?

  • holy shit can he dunk?

  • O_O

  • badass

  • damn!

  • would have been better if he jumped over it but thats still pretty crazy

  • What the hell?!

  • lol @ that measurement :p

    but impressive nonetheless!

  • Great job

  • Time is depedent on the number of exercises you do. I'd say do 4-5 exercises. If you can do that in 1.5hrs, no need to train for longer. I only train longer as that is the time it takes to fit my 4-5 exercises in.

  • How often do you guys train? I'm only a beginner & train roughly 2-3 times a week. Do you guys train everyday? or do you need a rest day in between?

  • bro trains 3x a week (mon, wed and sat), I train 8-9x a week when not injured :( but my sessions are shorter at lunchtime and olift mon, wed and sat. Sunday I rest. You need to build up your training stamina and I don't lift heavy heavy all the time it's cycled about so I get some rest in my schedules.

    Aim for 3x a week as it's a lot better then 2x.

  • Ahh ok, Thanks very much for the info man.

I forgot to ask how long you guys sessions are, I only do 1hr-1.2hr sessions. Should I be aiming for longer if I only do 2-3 sessions per week?

  • evening sessions are about 2.5hrs, lunchtime sessions are 50mins,

mon, wed, fri lunchtime = squat alternating front and back sessions

tue and thur lunchtime = upperbody/ mess about/ relax

mon, wed and sat I Olift for about 2.5-3hrs. I like to take 2mins inbetween sets of exercises. I do about 4-5 exercises.

  • HOLY!!!!! So where can I get some training advice for this?

  • Learn to OLift/ learn to jump lots of info on the net about how to olift.

  • that's just insane.

  • Awesome, nice lifting stats too.

  • Bro did 102/130Kg @ 67.55kg at the British Champs 08. Missed the Jerk on 133kg

  • That is awesome man.

  • so thats like what 68 inches? thats what i calculated

  • By my calculation its 59.2519685 inches, but close enough.

  • is this the world record?

  • damn

  • Very Impressive. What are your brothers clean and jerk and snatch numbers?

  • 101/128 @ 69kg

  • Awesome power!

  • Bro has some skills!

  • That is amazing explosive power of a weight-lifter! Absolutely amazing! Good job!

  • sick!

  • Wow, you beat Frank Yang...awesome...

  • Thats my bro, few guys will have as high a plate jump as my bro. Franks vertical is higher then my bro's though. My bro is @ 38inchs.

  • gt springs for legs

  • Supreme jump!!!! it must be boring to put all that weight back no?

  • Not too bad but it is a bit leary :P

  • Absolutely amazing. Wow.

  • WOW thats pretty amazing!

  • always gotta be one better than the rest of us ey leng!

  • Very impressive!

  • magarhe thats the risk we take :P.

I was spotting, he was safe :) haha!

  • Great jump, I wouldn't recommend anyone do this though, could have gone very very wrong.

  • extreme athletes takes risks ordinary people don't.
