Incredible! That's Ricky Edelweiss Sclutter on the piccolo flute, just near ze end... he was wrongly convicted of molesting a dwarf in Saarbrucken only last year... I was SHOCKED to see him pop up in this video!

It seems so strange that Von K should cross the threshold of the Staatsoper without his Martinetti. But still, this is just FUN. As a member of the Bourgeoisie I am proud to see this event. but Cleveland has the 'Enormodome', where 'Spinal Tap' got lost in the vast underground passages that lead from the dressing-rooms to the impressive stage. it is a good venue, with decent accoustics, but has been degraded by too many Rock bands.

Compare this with the Boskovsky version, which is more cheerful, but less musical.

I agree, but only partially.

Boskovsky gives it a more happy-go-lucky feel but forgets to put the 'so called' slippers out of the door, for the audience, something which Oskar Ruttenweiler NEVER did, I am a fan of herr Karajan, but this Austrian mess is just Schmalz.
