@municycleman Thanks. I built a boom that attaches via magnets on each side of the under-surface. I just added a link to the video description. I updated the boom since that video but you'll get the idea.
I'm noticing an interesting smudge effect when the scenary changes quickly. It might be due to compression algorithm used, but watch the downtubes when you're making quicker turns. You can see halo around them kinda like above asphalt on a hot summer day. Can you confirm if this is also present in the original footage or it got added after it was uploaded. I don't remember seeing similar effect in the original gopro.
Damn! You managed to get Aerodynamic into your film without falling foul of the copyright. Well done! I tried to load my last ("spring thermals") with the Daft Punk version of Aerodynamic, and I got shelled. I had to re-mix my own trance track in (which actually makes for a cool vid now). Love your film, and dig your tunes bro.
@MrFlyRide I'm just lucky right at the moment. Next week I may get a nasty-gram about the tune. I finally got my Freedom 170 back out. See my previous video: "I Owe The Flight to Jack". I put enough Gs on it to break two batten tips in flight. Thanks for the feedback! Jono
The new camera shows its value in clarity not to mention the fun you're having too. It has me shifting my weight in my chair as I watch. Really good stuff.
@rickhark It's pretty easy once you've built up some hours and gained confidence and skill in the basics. I like to challenge myself improve my skills (like any other sport) so some of my flying gets more difficult. The new Hero2 really adds a lot of detail and looks 3D as I'm skimming near those hillsides toward the end. Thanks, Jonathan
@0leandr1 I posted the full res video where Relate2 could download it and experiment w/ enhancement. So far I like the new camera. I hope it's a durable a workhorse as the previous generation HD Hero.
@wrdturkey I like it a lot. So far, all I've done is tested the 1080p 30fps 170 degree mode. I'm looking forward to seeing which features work for HG flights. I still love my Hero 1s just as much as before.
Daft Punk, had to say it.

The new camera produces great quality, what sort of memory capacity do you have on it?
pdutube 3 months ago
@pdutube 32GB SDHC card. It drains the battery faster than the old model. I may add an external battery for longer flights.

@macsux I don't see any of these compression artifacts on the original. It's normal to see these as the compression goes up.

You can rearrange the landing strip and leave only 20 feet or so. That's all you need Jonathan.
