@arraceline She's right. Cielito lindo is an old endearing term, like "honey" or "sweetheart" although people don't use it anymore. They now say "cielo" (sky) or "mi vida).

Although a gringa friend of mine says she thinks "cielito" means "little heaven." SInce the word means both things she could interpret it like that, although we understand it as "sky"
