Even in his 50's Jake cuts the best promos and has the best ring psychology ever. I wish Jake could get rid of his personal demons and dependance on alcohol and drugs. He ruined potentially brilliant career and has led to some very embarassing moments for him. When Jake is sober he's a master at his craft.
If he could just get clean and get back in decent shape, at the very least lose the beer belly. He would have quite a few years left as a star performer in wrestling.

i would doubt jake would go back to tna. he likes the x divison and says the smartest thing tna did was hire kurt angle. also tna does bad mangement. got that from an interview. i would rather see him go back to wwe or even go to roh.

Jake made "fake" wrestling look REAL. I first saw him in the 80s against Barry Windham (in Florida). He broke Barry's nose and it looked authentic!! Gosh unmatched ring psychology!!!

Even if he's strung out on smack (which at moments it's pretty evident he is), he's still the greatest, most believable promo ever. Never raises his voice once, and you still believe he can kill you. Ric Flair is nothing compared to The Snake.

He is a balding, dimwitted, boring, repetitive jackass. his routine got old in a hurry to anyone with a sense of "been there, done that". Only the empty headed masses got excited about him doing the same shit the same way over and over.
I'm surprised he sturng these sentences together, but even so, it looks very forced.

Every sucessful wrestler has a gimmick that sticks. Obviously Jake's stuck.

It's all a matter of opinion, but Jake never interested me in the least. Flair and Piper were funny being so arrogant, which is what pro wrestling is, funny fake competition made outrageous. I never cared for Hogan flexing and putting his hand to his ear. Yawn, like Jake is to me. I guess if you buy into the story, he might be good, but I watch wrestling for laughs not drama.
