Would it really be that hard for the police to track down the license plate on a vintage camaro? I called the cops. They did not come to our house, no finger printing, no DNA, nothing like CSI. They did not even want a picture of the car. It just got added to the list of stolen cars. If by some fluke they pulled it over for speeding and ran the plate they would figure out it was stolen. otherwise I was just shit-outta-luck.
Imagine if someone robbed a house or store of $80,000 in goods, I think they woulda got better service than I did!

Man was that the most fun I ever had ! unfortunately, after owning it for eleven years as my daily driver, I lost my job and after months of being jobless and staying with friends, I had to sell her and I've never been able to come across another one ( that I could afford ) since. Scud, that is a huge question that cannot practically be answered here. Frankly, and with respect, its not a stupid question but if you don't know the answer you may be getting in over your head. I have never tried to do what you are planning with a car from some other continent. You might be wise to buy a complete, finished car. Or nearly finished.

I know what, me & my dad were planing on buying an old car (like a: '67 mustang, or, charger, barracuda, challenger or somthing like that), and fully restoring it, but were not gonna leave a stock engine in it, gonna buy a crate engine like Hemi, Chevy or Mopar. So the question is, do u recomend any engine that sounds like hell, goes like hell, and to be high quality made. (fuck warranty's, cuz i live in Europe and find it to be a pain in the ass to shipp it back tu U.S only for a quick fixing)
It's not going to be completed for a while, because of budget issues. I still have to rebuild the body and do some work in the frame. I will be planning on taking this car around the US in a year or 2 to do drags and stuff like that. Plus I am having budget issues with it now. Also, It's a 572 twin turbo with 1200 horsepower and 1200 pounds of torque on pump gas. But when it's completed I will have videos don't worry.
By the way, the lyrics of the song really quite apply to me. Wonder why.

If you drive both, and I have, there is no comparison. The black one was very comfortable, like a Caddy, but little performance. The red one has performance coming out the ears! Ride quality is kinda stiff.
Raise a Little Hell is the greatest cruising song ever written, MO. Trooper is a canadian band that was sucessful back when I was your age, 16 in my mom's car with the AM radio blaring away in mono! Woohoo!

NO! The white pick up was backing into the spot beside and ahead of my Car. He floored it and pushed the car that was beside me across the drive isle behind me and into the building. Then he put it in drive and floored it forward taking off the front end of the white van in front of me. Then he parked it in the stall beside me where a different, now smashed car, used to be. Thanks GTO. She drove just as nice as she looked - maybe better, the 6 speed was a perfect transmission with the 375hp 396.

Sweet ride brother ! My first car was a 69 which I ended up blowing the original 327 and then put a LS-6 454 in her. Man was that the most fun I ever had ! unfortunately, after owning it for eleven years as my daily driver, I lost my job and after months of being jobless and staying with friends, I had to sell her and I've never been able to come across another one ( that I could afford ) since. It kills me every time I see one. I'm glad you could replace yours

Scud, that is a huge question that cannot practically be answered here. Frankly, and with respect, its not a stupid question but if you don't know the answer you may be getting in over your head. I have never tried to do what you are planning with a car from some other continent. You might be wise to buy a complete, finished car. Or nearly finished.

I know what, me & my dad were planing on buying an old car (like a: '67 mustang, or, charger, barracuda, challenger or somthing like that), and fully restoring it, but were not gonna leave a stock engine in it, gonna buy a crate engine like Hemi, Chevy or Mopar. So the question is, do u recomend any engine that sounds like hell, goes like hell, and to be high quality made. (fuck warranty's, cuz i live in Europe and find it to be a pain in the ass to shipp it back tu U.S only for a quick fixing)

I was only about $25,000CAD out of pocket after the insurance settlement.
I no longer park in the driveway infront of my house, my new 69 Camaro is locked away everyday, and has an immobilizer. Live and learn.

It's not going to be completed for a while, because of budget issues. I still have to rebuild the body and do some work in the frame. I will be planning on taking this car around the US in a year or 2 to do drags and stuff like that. Plus I am having budget issues with it now. Also, It's a 572 twin turbo with 1200 horsepower and 1200 pounds of torque on pump gas. But when it's completed I will have videos don't worry.

By the way, the lyrics of the song really quite apply to me. Wonder why.
Clean engine bay. Tires are quite little. And it's a little to high for my tastes. I like "Payback." That's a cool '69. That's my comments.
I love the paintjob though. Black with the white stripes. I know you said it's a cop magnet, and your cool with your current hockey stripes, but raising hell, I kind of like this more than your current one. Kind of.

It's called stock - its supposed to sit like a 4x4 and have skinny tires!
The paint was beautiful. I miss it. I'll put stripes on my new 69 one day.
If you drive both, and I have, there is no comparison. The black one was very comfortable, like a Caddy, but little performance. The red one has performance coming out the ears! Ride quality is kinda stiff.
I love them both, but for different reasons.

But at least something good came out of it: you got a nice SS396. I hope the person who stole appreciates it, otherwise, they need to burn in hell.

Raise a Little Hell is the greatest cruising song ever written, MO. Trooper is a canadian band that was sucessful back when I was your age, 16 in my mom's car with the AM radio blaring away in mono! Woohoo!
RS = Rally Sport (hide away headlights, trim)
SS = Super Sport (pefrormance engine, breaks, suspension)
When you got both it came badged as an SS. Mine is a clone - a copy, used to be a plane jane low horse v8. Somebody added all the good stuff to make it worth more money.

NO! The white pick up was backing into the spot beside and ahead of my Car. He floored it and pushed the car that was beside me across the drive isle behind me and into the building. Then he put it in drive and floored it forward taking off the front end of the white van in front of me. Then he parked it in the stall beside me where a different, now smashed car, used to be. Then I took pictures. He never touched my camaro, it was unbeleivable. I saw this happening from my office window!
