If I am not wrong, I think Gwen died when the villain tried to get Spiderman thru his girlfriend. That's how Spiderman ends up with Mary Jane in the end. That's from the comic book years ago.

Yes, that's what happened in the comics. In fact, this episode appears to be partly based off that comic, although because it's a kid's show, they apparently wouldn't kill Gwen. In the comic, the Green Goblin kills Gwen and then the next time Spiderman fights him he accidentally dies, like in the movies

While I don't feel Liz was an overall bad choice for Peter, I personally feel that Gwen and him were more..."compatible" with one another.

While I am glad that Gwen and Peter are finally making a move to getting together with one another...I just have a hunch that SOMETHING will happen to ruin their chances of getting together.

no one knows yet, so far it has done well on its dxd airing of season 1 and most of season 2 they have aired so far. But nothing is known either way. Though Greg W the producer of the show thinks it will happen, its only a matter of time.

Probably one of those voice changer deals. Like Ethan used in "Mission Impossible 3" or Batman probably used in "Batman Begins". (There was never any conformation to that, but I think that's how he did it.)

In the original comics, he actually started off loving Gwen and he and MJ were just friends. After Gwen died at the hands of the Green Goblin, Peter and MJ got closer.
