  • puede alguien hareme el favor de subir la piesa llamada WICHITA LINEMAN. de este gran maestro . Se los agradeceria mucho.

  • I remember this album cover in my parents collection from my childhood. Who knew back then how great this song was ( I am sure the rest of the album is great as well). Man, where did all the years go!

  • What a PIANIST!!! GREAT------BEAUTIFUL!!! BEST IN THE WORLD!!! MY MAN PETER :)

  • Eccellente esecuzione!

    Grazie :)

  • Was wondering if you had the single's flipside that you could post: Theme From jesus Christ Superstar. Its a longtime favorite that I cannot find ANYWHERE!

  • In 1972 this was the background music of my soul

  • tks , having saw the movie at the 'Drive-In" so way back then . Brings tears always to me . when the narrator says "and I would never see her again" the song tears you up so .... what u gonna do?

  • Hauntingly beautiful rendition.

  • Beautiful. I have been looking for Peter Nero's version of the Theme from Zorba The Greek. Would anyone know where to find it?

  • I think Peter Nero was very, VERY fond of Rachmaninoff... Oh, and yes, he is definitely a ROMANTIC... (As am I...) Aaaaahhhhh... :)

  • I remember buying the album after watching the movie, way back in 1971-- and immediately fell I'm love with Jenifer O'Neill. She was absolutely gorgeous in the film. Yes there were many versions of this theme by Michael Legrand on piano but Peter Nero's the best. You can almost feel the waves on the shore-- and that house-that was her house.

    Thanks for the memories

  • Actually, the theme was written by Michel Legrand, with lyrics by Marilyn and Alan Bergman. Mr. Nero's arrangement seems to be the defintiive version. George Benson's version (as arranged by Don Sebesky) is the one that does it for me!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I used to have this album. And you to spend countless hours listening to Peter Nero play! This is such a great song, as was the movie! :)

  • my favorite version of this classic, thanks so much for posting it !!!
