  • i search up funk so braddah and i get this.......WTF

  • Dam, Marvin was smooth.

  • I watch this and just wonder how could Marvin father take his own son life? I know Marvin hit him but gee whiz he did not have to kill him! Marvin can not RIP.

  • @cryingeyes100 Marvin defended his mother from his father's drunken rages. There was a history of him being abusive to Marvin's mother and one time marvin stood up to him and got shot for it.

  • Love seeing Marv's socks here.

  • And his father took him away from us.

  • 0 dislikes, just the way it should be

  • This is so 60's!!! LOL. Love it!!!!

  • In 1:59 is Diana Ross?

  • @marcosjr03 of course not.

  • them two white girls dancing in the beginning are peculiar lol

  • How tall was Marvin?

  • @abernam 6'5"

  • @abernam 6'1"

  • I love this song. Ironically, the video's peculiar. From some reason it looks like a Twilight Zone episode. Yes, that's a peculiar statement, but that's what I see.

  • We could have done without the dancers. I am sure Marvin could hold his own on stage.

  • The dance routine was created by a 'poser'!

    Really nothing there!!!!!!!

  • Dont get no better

  • after living 63 years i agree with sly821. the music was great back then! we had all the great soul singers and groups. he is greatly missed! thanx for posting!!!

  • After living 57 years; this is going back into a relatively good day. Music, Literature, we had it all.

  • hullabaloo/shindig/where the action is/lloyd thaxton/bandstand

  • Marvin Gaye defined cool.

  • This guy was so smooth. Look at those pegged pants.

  • Young Marvin. He could make women go wild!

  • hey smokey robinson

  • Marvin is shaking his head at them weak ass dancers.

  • thank God for Motown!!!

  • if it wasn't for marvin gaye and sam cooke you wouldn't have usher and drake.

  • @ebf1957 DRAKE IS A JOKE, AND YOU ARE A CRIMINAL TO THINK SAM COOKE LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR A DRAKE. USHER MAYBE

  • @CalypieAndroid

Like it or not given the lack of true R&B singers sometimes you have to find some kind of comparison.

  • @ebf1957 lets not forget Mr Otis Redding

  • Has anybody noticed that these same blonde dancers from Hullabaloo appear on other videos, too? They kinda have that robotic, Stepford Wives look, though. That aside, Marvin Gaye was The Man, wasn't he??!!!

  • @LesbianVampireLover

    Fembots.

  • one in a million mr gaye

  • LOVING 2:26.....Where did it go?

  • @carolinaguy321 : It was a show called "Shindig."

  • What a beautiful, beautiful man. You can even then see the pain in his face.

  • ooooooooooooooow i woulda of loved to be a tv go go dancer in the 60's. such fun! whether it was ready steady go, hullabuloo, or ed sullivan i wouldnt of complained :')

  • Sharing is good - we all remember that from Kindergarden :)

Someone on another channel has done a remix of this version that is fab. I can send it to you if you're interested.

  • Thanks for sharing. If the truth be known, my Mother firstly taught me about sharing when I wouldnt let my sister finger into the frosting bowl once the cake was finished.

Please send me the remix version. I too know of a remix version by Diamond Reo-
