the first time i played through this game i didn't know what E-tanks did, so i never used them. i got quite angry when i realized how much easier the game would be if only i had known
@SuperAwesomeTiago let me rephrase that i think the zelda series in general has better music, dont get me wrong i love the megaman tunes a lot, i just prefer the emotional zelda tracks
I remember back in '89 when I was 5....I just chose a random video game to play out of my pretty big collection, and I happen to pick Mega Man 2. I became a huge fan of this game very quickly, and would always shit a brick everytime they released a new game. Thank God MM9 was 8-bit style. Too bad MM7 and MM8 weren't like that.
I agree, this game is awesome! the only thing that dissapoints me is the final boss.... it was patethic, other than that I just freaking love this game!
I think the music in this game is still really good, I mean the first time I played this game was on the Mega Man Anniversary Collection, and the music AMAZED ME! I love this music!
I would get a converter like Pinnacle, then plug the visual and audio inputs from the NES into it and begin playing after clicking record on something like windows movie maker
This game truly is a great game, not just nostalgia. I introduced it to a buddy who started gaming near the end of the N64 "era", so he never had any oldschool influence. At first he found it really hard, but kept playing, now he's fully into it and loves it!
You're right: great games are timeless, not dependent on nostalgia. I found Fallout just last year, and now that and Fallout 2 are probably my favourite games ever. Not nostalgia, since I didn't play them when they came out! Great games of all genres will transcend time, transcend graphics, transcend sound and animation limitations.
Emulators???

what sets this game apart from every fucking lame ass nes game is that the music is plane brilliant
mjonas10 4 years ago
It's not the only NES game with brilliant music.
It IS, however, without question, the #1 most-remixed 8-bit soundtrack of all time. Perhaps even the #1 most-remixed videogame soundtrack, period!

Use FCE Ultra. It's damn nice. and please record gameplay while not talking. Add the talk later.
