The Democrats lost control of Congress in 1994, after Clinton took office in 1993.
For the economy, all he did was follow the advice of the fed chairman Allen Greenspan(a republican). So, you see, it was because of a Republican controlled Congress that there was a surplus of 559 billion when Clinton left office.

It is quite unfortunate that BILL is pushing the MAC card to facilitate the nomination of Hillary in 2012. He knows that a MAC administration would be devasting for our Economy, and that would make easier for Hillary to win.
I respect BILL as former president, but in this instance I truly regret his misguidance.
We all Americans have to vote for the President that will save our Economy from Collapse, not the one that will make us win political points.

Bill represents the ultra rich. He's just not as obnoxious about it as president Cheney and his assistant.
