  • I wish he was still alive. I wish all music legends that have passed away were still with us. I'm too young to remember seeing them on tv or bought artists records like what my mum and dad did and I wish we still had all the legendary artists who we look to as idols.

  • Yes, suddenly we know alot more about this tune then we ever did before, thanks to Miss O'Dell herself. I got hooked browsing through it at the store but had to put it down. Now it's on my Xmas list. I've loved the song since buying the Give Me Love single back in the day. Wow, what a great single! Thanks.

  • chris odell was a woman who worked at apple in the late 70's, and became very good friends with the beatles. mainly george harrison. i dont believe she ever had an affair with george. chris was best friends with his wife pattie boyd. chris odell recently wrote a book called "miss odell" obviously after the song

  • Seem to remember...Miss o'dell worked for apple and the song is a rant against Paul's seeming lack of public passion concerning the social issues of the day. That's Paul's personal phone number sung out at the end of the song...

  • @MarthaMyDear999 Actually Chris O'Dell said in her book that she did not sleep with George. She valued her friendship with Patti Boyd more than sleeping with George. She did have an affair with Ringo though.

  • Hahaha!

I love how he's cracking up in the middle of the song.

I don't understand much of it, but it's lovely.
