@csdirtracerS4 Thanks for your interest. But at the moment we don't need any betatester more. We are waiting for rFactor2 until carry on our work. We have to see how more support we've got for 4x4 compared to rFactor. ;P

@ZuranMarine There never will be a game based on the Camel Trophy unfortunately, because the main sponsor is a tobacco company and game companies haven't allowed that for a long while.

We are working slow, very slow. Range Rover isn't far to be finished but many others cars are. The mod won't be out before rF2, so we'll see how many things are easier with rF2 for this kind of mods (surfaces, suspensions, etc)... We are quite far from the release date...

Looks very very good so far. Looks like RF Central is out at the mo, was going to look in the WIP forum. Have you managed to find a way of simulating wet/rain in RF yet? I had a look in the game structure but can't see a way to simulate a "soft" surface like mud for bog holes/rain etc. Nice work though, I like it

@fauxsham Thanks for the kind words. There's a way to simulate wet on tarmac in a quite realistic way, but i don't it's possible to do with mud. There are many parameters to tweak for getting a good surface, although we'll have much better things to do with rF2 :P

@CrazIvant Any news on rF2 release date? I'm getting impatient! I'll have a look at the wet tarmac idea, I'd like to be able to simulate real weather, but it looks like we'll have to wait to do that properly! Keep up the good work, I've been thinking a 4x4 trials mod a bit like screamer 4x4 would be amazing, as would a full on camel trophy mod, especially one with long stages that might take a couple of days of gameplay to complete. I'll keep my eyes on the WIP forum when its back up!

@fauxsham There are no certain news about the release date. But I've heard rumours which say that rF2 will be released about the end of the year. We'll have to wait and see... :P

I love Screamer 4x4, ideed I've got a video from that game uploaded to my account :P

@CrazIvant I keep looking for a copy of screamer but I can't find one anywhere. Not sure if it will run under windows 7 if I do, might be able to fudge that by running 7 as XP, but I'm yet to find a copy of the game!

it looks like you've given the model independant front suspension rather than solid axle, any reason for this?
