Ireally think this is a fine and interesting interpretation by this orchestra on this score written by neoclassicist Paul Hindemith in 1943, based on themes by Carl Maria von Weber, the father of german romanticism, Hindemith was previous to his classical period a progressive author during his younger years
you're welcome and keep on practicing that wonderful bass woodwind instrument such as the basoon, definetely must not be missing in the symphonic orchestra. keep on the good work!
High school orchestras need to play stuff like this more instead of doing only the same old boring classics like Mozart, Beethoven, Tschaikovsky, etc.
I played trumpet in the full Symphonic Metamormophosis in the Georgia All-State Band '08. I absolutely loved this piece and the flute solo in this one.
I played trumpet in the full Symphonic Metamorphosis in the Georgia All-State Band '08. It was awesome and the flute solo in this piece is the coolest! The trumpet parts aren't that bad either ;)
I love the guy coughing at the end...hee hee hee
