The SSJ2 and SSJ3 transformations are kinda stupid compared to the SSJ4.... I mean like all 2 adds is sparks and 3 takes away the eyebrows and makes your hair longer, how lame is that.

@Sephirot4678 Compared to SSJ SSJ 2 enhances strength and doubles if not triples speed, SSJ 3 ups the Kai out put and strength level. The Kai enhancement reduces how long a say-jin can stay in that state because it causes a drastic stamina reduction. With SSJ 4 Stamina is upped along with pretty much everything else. Strength and a much, much deeper Kai pool. Its why a SSJ 4 Gogeta is so effing strong.

Lemme explain for y'all. What we call Super Saiyan 4 is the TRUE super saiyan. It's the power that was inside Goku all along released to its full extent. Other super saiyan forms are EXPANSIONS of power, releasing more ki. This is a COMPRESSION. It's the same power that's in the Golden Great Ape, compressed into human form. It gives him more strength, more speed, and above all, more stamina than any other super saiyan form.

i think he knew because of the original Super Saiyan. the original SSJ was also a Golden Oozaru, but the problem was he couldnt control it, so he destroyed original planet Saiyan (this was before they had planet Vegeta). anyways they call it SSJ4 but i think (and a lot of others too) that this is the original SSJ transformation.

its because the SSJ4 Transformation is so powerful it negates even the DragonBalls wish. thats the only reason he turned back into an adult. if a full blooded Saiyan were to turn into a SSJ4 at the age of, lets say...8, he would still be a kid. so the reason he turned back into an adult was because SSJ4 form broke the bond of the wish.

i think the reason why the transformation is so boring is because it is a intense reverse transformation to normal form from ozzaru form in which he keeps the insane amount of power but the amount of power he keep makes him look diffrent in his human state

I like the idea of how you achieve Super Saiyan 4, I just wouldn't call it that to be honest... To me, it seems like something you'd just call the "Awakened Saiyan" or something. Like how Gohan's potential was unlocked, this is a pure-blooded Saiyan's true potential realized. Think about it, guys. It requires becoming a Golden Great Ape, conquering its primal rage, taking that power and compressing it into the 'human' form. And he still looks like a beast. When you think of it like that...

@SonicWinds I JUST LOVED THE WAY HOW YOU PUT IT. i couldnt say it any better! awakened saiyan does sound like the most proper term for this evolution cuz saiyan 4 would be more like after the third stage ( obviously) but this transformation is on a whole other level in terms of appearance, power, and requirements to transform. becoming a neosayian lol i would say its like the bridge between the humanoid form of goku and the grreat ape. the perfect combination of both evolutionary stages

Thanks! It makes even better sense too when you think about how Vegeta described the original Super Saiyan. It was a shaded image of a Golden Great Ape and it was said that he destroyed himself under his own power. So I think, unless the Saiyan legacy dates further back, that Goku may have very well been the first one to ever gain control of that form to achieve this transformation. In other words, defying the legend to awaken.

@SonicWinds nice use of reference from vegeta, its so true! i would love if akira toriyama would like back a whole entire back story for the saiyan of leyands, or maybe awhole new series explaining more. ive always been curious of the legendary supersaiyans that vegeta always mentioned in the frieza saga and that how they were exterminated. imagined if there were some in king vegeta's time? they could of stop frieza i bet!
