Fair does, he did leave us on short notice, but just respect that? If you remember back to the time he signed for Liverpool, he had turned down offers from Man Utd, Chelsea, Inter, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and 1 offer comes from Liverpool and he joined, just remember that, and stop hating on the man. I personally wasn't happy when he left but now i do prefer Suarez, so I do wish the best for Torres in the rest of his career.

When Torres left Atletico Madrid the fans thanked him for his service and vowed to support him and love him whereever he goes (even if it was to Real).
When Torres left Liverpool the fans burned his shirts and called him every name under the sun.

What in my comment stated that I hate Torres. I am one of the biggest Torres-fan you can find. I was a Liverpool-supporter and a Torres-supporter long before he joined Liverpool, do you find it hard to understand that I dislike what he did? I f*cking love Torres but I f*cking hate his choice. A choice that stabbed us in the back.
I would always welcome Torres and I would beg for him to return, but I am honest when I say he left the big club and made a terribly choice.

@BryanIVIcGrath The problem is that he kept saying how much he loved the club and the city. 6 months before he left he said his commitment to the club was the same as it was on day 1 and 2 weeks before he left he said he'd honour his contract and then gave us 2 days to find a replacement striker!!!??? He then said he enjoyed being at a 'bigger' club. That is why he is a traitor and NOT just for leaving. If he isn't a glory seeker then he's a money grabber. Whichever you prefer. (He's both.)
