I didn't even understand a word he said, but in my opinion, this is the best review of the amp out there, like, literally! I mean c'mon, even if it wasn't in English, the video was HD clear, and the cameraman focuses on the knobs everytime he changes something, and not only his playing is brilliant, but also the audio quality. Sometimes, a good review doesn't need talking, just great video, great audio, and great demonstration. Simply the best review/demo of the amp you could get out there.

Ich hab das Vorgängermodell zu Hause (Cube 30, ohne das X ;) ). Ist auf alle Fälle sehr gut zum Üben zu Hause geeignet, im Proberaum bräuchte es dann wahrscheinlich doch einen Amp mit mehr Druck.

@bumsex4me it has a tuner, power squeezer and the effect "dyna amp"... these effects are very usefull and sound so nice! i got a line six spider valve and a cube 30rs and i have to say, that the clean and the r-fire (hard metal) effects much better are! for beginning to play guitar, i think that's best amp u can buy!

The review on this amp as with any other amp review never really do them any justice. Cause this amp sounds way better in person and you can get way more sounds from it... but the damn guy has the equalizers all set to half as he goes through every model which makes it (in my opinion) fail. The equalizer settings are a big deal in determining what sound you want from the amp. I personally have this amp and i can tell you it's incredible! R-Fier is the shit

Roland Cube 30x VS Marshall MG30FX VS Line6 Spider IV 30w

I mainly play metal and hard rock. (Metallica, Megadeath, some LP...)

This would be my first amp. The guitar I own is a white Ibanez ART120.

Any ideas??

I'm asking because I'm looking for expert reviews about both amplifiers. I was in a store recently checking them out and I wasn't sure of which one sounded better.

And also, I've found some negative comments about Spider's effects quality.

I want an amplifier for general purposes. I (try to) play a bit of everything. Pop, rock, blues, a bit of jazz. I'm not a metal head, I'm more fond of Pink Floyd style.

Oh then you will definitely like this amp, I use mine for metal (I have the older model) and it doesnt really cut it. It isnt the loudest amp but for your purposes it will be alright.
