  • this is gay

  • good tip

  • what is the length from the fly to the float?

  • @ajp0007 Did anyone answer this question for you? I'd like to know the answer to this question myself. It looked like he had the float pretty close to the nymph. I'm thinking as he said in the video, the strike indicator helps the nymph stay afloat so maybe that's why he tied it close to the nymph.

  • @ajp0007 You are supposed to attach your indicator 1.5 times the water depth above the weight.

  • id have to agree with stimpy19. Why do this stuff that takes away from fly fishing? Sides who needs a dam indicator when you have your 2 eyes and can feel it.

  • i think that a strike indicator is for those who are new to nymphing help dectect the hit until they're expierienced enough to know when to set the hook.

  • @coltloverM11911 Yea I think your right. I am new to nymphing and I use a strike indicator just to help learn the ropes on detecting the strike. This next season I'm hoping the practice has paid off and to land some good fish without one

  • @1rrelssek hey thanks just watch out because sometimes if it's a subtle hit the strike indicator may absorb the shock and if your asleep you'll

miss a fish. Good luck Eric

  • its harder than that to tell when u get a strike
