  • Hey Sean, I connect to a trailer last night but the air ride system did not inflate the air bags after I release the trailer air supply valve, red botton and went to the trailer valve for the air bags and turn on the inflate position but nothing happened. I noticed that there was water inside the trailer air ride valve gauge in that little box before the tandems.

  • @mecedes4000 Was it really cold? If it was, there may have been ice in the line blocking the air

  • you have a nice way of putting it keep them coming thanks for the info.

  • When i went through the trucking school with my company. We have 6 cables to attach. Two of them were back up cables and the other one is a hydralic line. And being that i drive a dump truck. The coupling has to be manualy cosed and locked. But good video as usual.

  • Dont worry about bad commentary, just teach.

  • uuuuh. I wish I had 2800 bucks to get my CDL

  • never ever get under the trailer unless you have to

  • @readingnewboy And there are plenty of reasons you LEGALLY have to, pretrip for instance, to visually inspect the fifthwheel jaws... ect

  • Thanks this video cleared some thing up for me

  • Thankz for the Video man, it will help because i am new to the industry thnx

  • how ya Sean think videos are good very helpful and thanks for taking time to do them

  • bravo from Greece thanks for the video!!!

  • 0:52 .....story of youtubes life

  • Comment removed

  • Are there only 3 cable for connecting the truck with the trailer?

  • @MrPatPowers On average yes. Possibly specialized equiptment has more

  • @MrPatPowers Sometimes 5 if you have a live floor or any kind of hydraulic system one in and one out line.

  • AWESOME BRO, THANKS.

  • i like to see your videos.i take my licence a fews mounths and this is very good to learn more...i´m portuguese and where whe don´t see any videos of this...good job

  • Hey man I wanna say that your videos are the best I have seen on youtube as far as instructing the basics. I really appreciate you taking the time to do them. So thank you for the videos.

  • @EquipmentReviewer No problem. I just want to see truckers, not steering wheel holders out there, so if I can give information to be PROFESSIONAL, I will

  • Hey Sean!

Thanks for your videos, I appreciate them a lot. I am in truck driving school out here in Alberta Canada and your videos have made a big difference. I am learning so fast and I can't wait for the road test. You make it simple and straight forward, thanks

  • hey body i like all your vids so don't fucken worry about this super truck drivers do you thing and be happy my frend hope to see more vids of you soon take care it

  • How often do u grease every u-joint?

  • nice job although im not a trucker i like ur videos

  • I am a recent Trucking School Grad and Newbie Driver. Keep the good videos comming. Alot of my friends at school and myself found your tutorials priceless!!!I've met a few of those so called super truckers. Drivers like oyurself who take the time to educate and help others are the REAL SUPERTRUCKERS in my book. God bless you brother!!!!

  • Never notices the air lines being different colored. Good thing I'm going to the Truck Expo in town Friday. Are tri-axle van trailers common in BC? I don't think I've ever seen one here in the states, at least not in good ole WIS. By the by, you make trucking look easy enough I want to try it.

  • I have always wondered what the each color stood for

  • Your Info was very informing, Thank you...

  • inside story to trucking and some thing you should be prepared for on the road. The tutorials are good as well I will be going to School the end of August to get my class 1 and I hope all these videos will give me a leg up wile I’m there. Keep it up and keep the rubber on the road!

  • Hey Sean

First off all the videos are steller. I must say when i first watched your video about gearing a 18 speed I thought you were a little out to lunch. Needless to say at the time I was not your biggest fan. Then i stumbled on a couple videos of you and trucker Steve. Hilarious you guys crack me up, and I’m liking the “newer” Eskimo look with the full beard and a little more hair on top it suits you well. I think its great what guys like Steve and yourself are doing showing the

  • do you drive a century or an FLD?

  • Can you make a tutorial on how to put grease on your trailer hitch?

  • very good video dude tell the super truckers to suck your d**k haters

  • No dinks here, Thanks brother good video and I do appreciate it. Keep it up!

  • Hey, just a line to let you know how much I appreciate your videos,I have'nt drove in 17 years, took a road test today and I got the job, you saved my ass man and I owe you a cold beer ,maybe someday if I come to the great white north we can drink a couple. Thanks again keep on truckin Chad [in tennessee]

  • @catitonic Awsome dude! Congrats! See you on the highway

  • What do you do if you couple into a trailer and cannot access the lever to lift the legs of the trailer as it's next to a dock or something of the like?

  • @silkkessler Do what you can. Chances are if it's dropped next to the building, a yard hopper dropped it there, so get them to move it out. If a trialer is dropped beside it to close, again, if theres a yard hopper, one of them have to move. If not... it isn't pretty

  • tku for your help!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • LMAO off...so yeah if your gonna be a dink about it don't bother commenting, because at least he's trying to keep the roads safe for all road users. And Super Trucker....if you really wanna be a Super Trucker keep in mind if you really wanna help out leave a better post or comment a more positive or better criticism that's useful!

  • thx very much your video is for great use for my good job and safe drive

  • you can leave the engine running when you connecting and unconnecting electrical cables?( sorry for my english i'm romanian)

  • @MrSpeedybusa Yes. It could be safe practice to turn it off, however, not required

  • @MrSpeedybusa Well that SAYS it all have you got your coffee cup for you real job ????

  • Hello Seansuth. Update in New law in Ontario.

    1) you slide under the the trailer

    2) connect your air lines, and electrical cable, then you couple it for good.

I'm in a Metro Truck Driving school now. Just my 5 cents , just to update Ontario.

I learn from 2 people from Shnider. They are Instructors, as the people that recomend new drivers. Belive me, they have no nerves...

so far I gor 5/10 on my first drive on the road, 5/10 coupling and manovers!!!

    Thanks Seansouth for your videos!

  • @zgierzanin2 Thanks for the update. It's getting retarded. If it works the way they got it, why change it, you know

  • Ok I guess I will play the role of super trucker here...lol... ummm correct me if I am wrong, but when winding up the landing gear ( dolly legs) whatever you or other people may call them, should you not keep one hand on the trailer wall and use your other hand to do the winding??? For some reason I do recall this in school....many many years ago....lol...another great video bro. I know I have watched it before...but just felt like picking on ya..lol

  • @Newfieguy89 Oh ya...btw...if you're gonna be dink about it......

  • @Newfieguy89 LMAO! Yeah, I'll be a dink about it! You also need to keep your feet firmly planted at a 90 deg angle from the rear corner of the trailer, exactly 1.7 feet away from the handle joint ect, blah blah... LOL

  • I like the ending, plus the learning

  • view complete version associated with this kind of video here at avatz ... net change ... to .

  • VERY GOOD TEACHING FOR GET ABOUT THE SUPER TRUCKERS.

  • VERY GOOD TEACHING

  • that whats a good video!!!!!

  • Bro, I needed this! I'm taking a pre trip and road test Friday for a class A and I have no experience with a fifth wheel. Thanks a lot for your video

  • good job, keep up the good work, stay safe and dont wory about those super truckers out there

  • give em hell sean lol

  • hey sean i dont mean to b rude or anything but not all trailers have the dump system like that because i have pulled trailers without that so im just letting you for future reference ok buddy

  • man u tha vid king !!

  • what does the refrigerator run off

  • wow awesome ive been looking for one of these types of tutorials for the longest

  • Hey Sean,it sounds like you struck a nerve w/ stevesprinceofsteaks,lol.Be safe.

  • @ramblinman6300 lol, yeah... sometimes I getmyself under someones skin, and it's fun!

  • thanks for your video,,Sean!!!

  • wut r those handles for on the side of the trailer?

  • @weiserbud67 They flip down for steps. Up top of refrigerated trailers there's a small door, used for various reasons. The steps are in place to reach them

  • Hi sean ,,thanks for your video!!

  • This video was good except the crying about super truckers quit getting butt hurt their retarded any way

  • Hey Sean just wanted to say great videos! I had a question and you will have to tell me what you think. I haul grain for my uncle I drive a super 10 and I really dont like it. I like the old 9 speeds and I like straight 10's. My question is I have heard from a couple of drivers if you double clutch your engine will last longer what do you think about that? I know you dont use the clutch I have noticed and most experienced truckers dont. I know your clutch wont last as long. Thanks a lot Sean!

  • @bfry38 Shoot, I've heard both are good, both are bad. I think if you know what your doing, shifting without the clutch is better. some guys it doesn't matter how they shift, my mechanic has replaced clutches two months apart cuz they don't know how to shift WITH a clutch

  • @seansuth Thanks Sean for the info, just wanted to see what you thought!

  • cool, it's free at #CUTE Zero Cost Movies . com #OMG

  • #CUTE Full Movie Central . com #OMG has this

  • The tutorial that I'm reading now is saying that you have to connect the cables before sliding underneath the trailer - just when about 10 cm of the fifth wheel is still outside. Otherwise you will fail the test. Is it true?

  • @khunboris Maybe in your area. In Canada, where I tested, back in 2002 that wasn't the case, and in the last book I saw from there, it didn't change. But again, everyone should make sure they get proper training in there area, because laws are different everywhere

  • @seansuth It was a tutorial from one of driving schools in Toronto.... not in my area. But Ok will see... didn't get a visa yet anyway... not easy

  • @khunboris Oh, I know about visas, been married to a US citizen eight years... still have a bunch of BS to go thru. Yeah, Ontario has come crazy ideas when it comes to trucking. This information was from BC, 3000 miles west.

  • @seansuth It is nearly impossible to get PR for a trucker in Ontario, I just want to get licensed there. Then look LMO somewehere outside in province with a program for truck drivers. But I don't know yet if it is possible for me to get the permission to enter Canada at all

  • @khunboris Try contacting Bison Transport out of Winnipeg Manatoba. I know they sponsor drivers into Canada, and help with everything to get you there and driving. From what I know, company drivers are usually happy with them. I was a lease opperator, and they usually don't do good there

  • @seansuth wow.... it's a big company! You think they will do for a foreigner with no Canadian experience? I'll try it anyway.... go on their website. I just waiting now for the right moment to apply for a visa. When I'm in Canada and get the AZ licence may be it will be easier. I heard now is not a good time to look for a job... Also heard now some problems to get LMOs from ministry.... Will see

Thank you for your help anyway!

  • @khunboris When I worked for them, three yrs ago, they were going to Europe recuiting drivers. Now with the problems, and shortage of frieght, they may not do it as much or at all, but it's worth it to look

  • @seansuth found the web site already.... the other problem is that I'm not from western Europe.... I need a lot to pass the embassy.... now looking for some contact there at Bison website - the online application form is for those who're already in Canada. It would be nice if they could support the application for a visa and arrange a JO and LMO letter from the ministry.

  • thanks for these video's and having the time to make

    peace man

  • pero este es ronaldo

ta bien quese dedique a los camiones

    porque la pelotita ya fué

  • Sean, have you made a pre-trip tutorial video yet? Would be pretty much interesting to watch!

  • @khunboris Lined up a truck to use, but just have to have him get a load to this area. Hopefuly soon

  • I dont see why truckers have to insult another trucker because he wants to show and help other potential truckers...

Of course your twice the size of most people that comment, im only just getting my beeer gut; I see you have had your for a bit :P... keep up the driving

  • i think it may be a good idia to let us know about how to conect the air lines and how to be shure your glading them on the right conector . service line and suply line how do you know where thay connect ?does it matter?

  • Great video!!

  • Great Job Sean

  • damn sean u must have pissed in stevesprinceofsteaks cereal and fucked his ol lady and ran over his dog on the way out, what a grumpy sum bitch

  • Thanks alot Sean! I am also going for my CDL and want to gain as much knowledge as possible and this helps! Keep on Truckin'

  • man this stuff really helped me get my CDL aced that test thanks to your videos

  • 5***** - the Polish

  • Hey Thanks this really helps.....Keep on Truckin :)

  • wanna take this licence, and these videoes helps a lot, keep on making em! :)

  • Too funny. Super truckers extraordinaire look out. All the billy big riggers should know this stuff and not need to watch videoes like this unless they're unsure of them selves?????

  • the raising the airbags step is not applicable for trailers that have leaf spring suspensions

  • Thank you for taking the time to make this video, I am going for my CDL and need to see this kind of stuff.

I learn by seeing or doing easier than by reading it in a book.

  • I'm going through the same thing. Sean is a great guy.

  • Seansuth: Thank You, Well Done. I just went through this part this past week in school. It was easy, Just have to remind myself to not get ahead of myself.

  • Good Video!

  • sean, something off this subject ,my ? do you have to clutch half way before upshifing ,or just let off the throttle let the rpms drop 3 hundred then upshift ,do you do the same while splitting gears, and downshifting ,thank you

  • on your disconnecting video you dumped the air suspension on the trailer before docking and i wanted to know if the tractor air had to be dumped before connecting

  • It's not neccessary, but may be a good idea. But just watch out to not jump the pin

  • do you have to dump the air suspension on the tractor , before coupling the trailer

  • Nice vid

  • I like your tutorial. I learn very much of them..

  • I just got my Class 'A' LP and I am self teaching using YouTube To learn how to do things.

This is a good video on the fifth wheel, but to check the conection shouldn't you slightly raise the trailer legs so you wont damage them ? I got this wrong on my test !

  • If the legs are correctly lowered, once you connect they should be barely touching the ground. They also shouldn't be raised to high, in case the jaws AREN'T locked and the trailer slides off

  • You have great videos man and princefreak or whatever his name is .. Is just jellous because he wishes he had a dick so just don't reply although you have funny comments lol I love your videos I want yo be a train engineer for cp rail but ice always wanted to be a trucker and I live in bc to rock on!!!!!!!! Semis rule and so do dmfreight trains

  • Your soo cool man and I was wondering were you are from lol I live in bc to it rules hey!!! Nice you make these videos u got a sub!!! 5/5

  • not to butt in here boys, i enjoy ur talk, really do. but i got a ? for all the drivers out there about companies. im workin on gettin my CDL, and i wanna go with either SWIFT or SCHNEIDER. anyone with opinions or insight as to which one is better for OTR? i need to know who pays better and who has better job security as me and my fianc are having a baby. any advice would be good. thanks, and keep on truckin

  • WTF you talking about rivets? Just look in the mirrors and line it up. worked for me for 28 years. Been over the top of one pin in all those years. Get out and check height. Back it in . It ain't brain surgery. check the pin. Check the brakes. Check the tires. Check the slack adjusters. Haul ass.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, here is one of the said "supertruckers"

  • Fuck off Sean Pussy Boy Suth. I drive OD freight that would make you piss yourself. I do a thorough pre and post trip including getting my escorts squared away. Just don't act like hooking up a box is such a big deal. When I see you on 10 plus axles I will give a shit what a steering wheel holder/paper boy like you thinks. You got plenty of time to play w/ your camera don't you? Any fool can drive a rig like yours. CREngland, Werner,Swift pump out a couple hundred a week. So you are the superT

  • Once again, ladies and gentlemen, here is the supertrucker I talk about. What a supertrucker is, thinks he/she is better than any other REAL trucker. Always sitting at truck stops whining about this or that, saying "i hauled this and that", but turned less miles in ten years than most truckers. Also, they get intimidated when some one hands out information to help entry level drivers. Numb nuts here seems to forget, one day he didn't know jack about driving... now, he just knows SHIT about it

  • There are a lot of the slob super truckers you refer to. I;m not one cocksucker. Put that camera down and find some old hands who aren't miserable and you will learn something. I also learn from young guys as well. Listen good and you will get one of the few decent jobs left in this industry like I have. You like your $ 30-40k a year keep video taping and blabbing. you want to get into 6 figures and have people stop and say "Holy Shit" when you pass then listen more and lecture less. that is all

  • "find some old hands who aren't miserable and you will learn something" Glad he said this. Welcome to my videos people. Here you will learn something. Don't find just anyone like princefreak here, the old miserable (cock in) hand

  • Yep you must be a CRE grad; big mouth-no balls. Like I said some young guys are good to learn from. Especially high tech. guess I;ll get one to help me with video. But not some bus station fagot cocksucker like you. when you want to learn securement, irregular routing, DOD, ports, and too much to mention-piss off. You already know it all.yep cock in hand.Better than you with cock in mouth for eating money at bus station. What you make .32-36 a mile.LOL Loser! But you know it all. Gov cheese boy!

  • Another thing folks, truckers don't need to tell what they make.

Maybe I should make a tutorial about spotting S.T?...

  • You got plenty of mirrors on that Shaker. Just point Mr video at any of them. LOL!! Truckers all talk about what they make. That just shows how full of crap you are. I bet I get 10 a week coming up and asking what you get paid for hauling OD. And I am honest with them. Some as low as $2 a mile and others up to over $5. Just depends of what , where, what is available coming out, etc.But you already know all that. You know it all. Saw it on You Tube. LOL!! Keep clean DAC,no tickets, learn it all.

  • Still have your head up your own ass huh?

  • Oh the truth hurts. Your probably a good guy. Just amused about rivets. what ever works. But don;'t pull that super trucker shit on me. I pass all inspections. I never get hammered at scales. I got my last ticket in 1994. I plan my routes, fuel, escorts, loading and unloading to the enth degree. I stay out of TS;s except to fuel and shower. Prepare my own food. Vacuum pack it. Heat and eat. Have lost 40 lbs and ready for new regs. you want to take offense at every crack you won't last long.sorry

  • Take offence? at what? I'm not the ass cap. Glad you think highly about your career. Too bad you don't know what a supertrucker is

  • Oh well I;m tired of wasting time with cherry picker cocksucker like you. Go haul your box and act like you know it all. Sure the you tubers will think you;re real cool. Bet you're out in less than 2 yrs.

  • I'll let you know gramps

  • Also folks, an attitude like "you want to get into 6 figures and have people stop and say "Holy Shit" when you pass" wont happen overnight. It also is the "small penis" syndrome.

  • I started w/ union common carrier long ago. No more unions. Thank God. All full of big mouth pricks like you. Big shots. Look at me. Oh shit they are replacing me with wet backs. LOL! yeah you're a real valuable asset. What they got your Shaker castrated down to 58. Probably best. More time driving and less playing with camera on Co time. You are right about one thing. It takes time to get into good money in trucking. 5-10 years if you play your cards right and get lucky. Keep knocking veterans.

  • A tleast we agree on two things. But instead of having a better than you attitude, realize I'm trying to make drivers coming into the industry better. I don't know all, neither do you. But my knowlage MAY help even one person be a better PROFESSIONAL driver, THAT'S what these videos are for... not for people in your shoes

  • Tell us about curfew hours in Denver, OK city, others. How long , wide, high you have to be in ND to require escorts. Can i drive my 244" T-800 into Canada? What are the bridge laws in CA? What you need besides TWIC to get into Port of LA? How many military loads you haul this month? Oh that's right . Box Boy. Takes one of us "super truckers" to know how to go from skate to step to RGN to wind etc.Get back in that POS Shaker and get your ass back to Pilot and tell you tales to the cherry pickers

  • Boys and girls, it's too bad princefreaks here doesn't upload his experience and valuable knowlage in his own tutorial videos (or do ANY video for that matter, before posting keyboard rambo comments) so that others can learn from him. Instead he comes in here with his larger and better than life attitude. too bad

  • ya dude, ur not a supertrucker, and with your attitude im suprised you have a job, you should be steveprinceofcocks.

  • Awesome videos man. My Best Friend has been a trucker for about a year and a half and it has been a good expierience for him. He started doing OTR with Covenent and worked his way to North East Regional with a smaller trucking company. Now he ia on his second day with his third company doing local run where he is home everyday. I went with him for a week on the road and it was fun living the trucker life. Keep posting more Videos and Be Safe Out There.

  • THANKS!!!

  • great vid and all but I would have saved myself the trouble and told everyone that if your not some kind of mechanically inclined then seek employment else where. I've seen many of people come into CDL training with the mindset of "An easy job where i can sit on my ass, drive see the country side and get paid." By at least the third day in most of those people were sent home because trucking isn't what you may think.

  • great videos ...and they are free good supplement to the 30 dollars online prep i am doing

  • Hey there I just wanted to say that the video was GREAT I am currently going for my Class A permit and having alittle difficulty with the Combination test. So I figured I do better visually than reading so I looked up coupling on here and saw a your videos and this one was such a help will be going to take my combination test here in New York tomorrow and if I pass will have my permit and next step will be the license. I look forward to watching all the videos you have out now & later.

    THANKS.

  • Thanks Sean, Very informative. I am headed to school this month....

  • you say aright tooo much lol

  • great job I hust got out trucking school any advise before I go outhere? thanks

  • Thank you Sean for all the videos you made about trucking. I'm gonna move to Canada as a skilled worker and probably gonna be a truck driver 'cause it suits me most of all and they are always in need and make pretty much money too. Your tutorials are very useful, thank you again, man, and do well!

    Sincerely yours,

    Boris, from Moscow

  • Lol, your funny. Had my class-A's for two years been driving tri-axle dump trucks and pullin flat beds haulin construction equipment. This week I start driving a tracter trailer full time on the road, though I'll be making it home every night. But anywho jus wanted to say awesome videos I've been watching them jus to brush up and you explain everything great. Thanks man!

  • great job keep up the good work

  • as usual, great video.i enjoy watching your instructionalvideos because i would really love ot become an over the road truck driver like yourself.if you could recomend a good company to do driver training or a good trucking school, would be great.

  • Thanks for other tip, I'm waching all your videos keep doing it

  • Right-on dude...thanks for the tute...

  • Comment removed

  • I think you've done a wonderful job explaining basics on your videos/tutorials. Keep up imparting your knowledge. See ya on the road!

  • Outstanding my man. Thanks for the education. Hopefully I will learn more at school and be as confident as you.

  • what is the name of this song??

  • no offence or anything, but air is released from the brakes when you push the brakes, its a safety thing, so if you lose air pressure, brakes are automatically applied.

  • What are you talking about? If your refrancing my dumping air, the air stays in the suspention bags, and drian slowly over time if sitting. Also, when forklifts enter/exit, that creates pressure on the bags, and over time, do damage

  • My bad, i heard wrong. But i was just sayin that when you hit the brakes, the air is removed from the brakes themselves, which applys the brakes.

  • You make no sense. What would happen is when the brakes are released there is air in the brakes, so that when you loose pressure the brakes come on.

  • nice video... thank you

  • hahahahahhaha "holy crap i felt like trucker d there"

good work sean keep the good videos coming

  • i want you to teach me when i get my CDL

    im in high school

  • hey im n high skool 2 and i wanna get my cdl!

wen u goin to get ur cdl?

  • really good vid...helped me alot. Thanks

  • nice work sean

  • I saw the VLOG I think you should look at Scotlynn Commodities they have awesome looking Peterbilts and 18 speeds.

  • I sent them an email yesterday actually. Maybe get a lease
