i have ipod touch 3g 32gigs i update it to 3.1.3 and i try everything to downgrade to 3.1.2 but still no solution please help me

Upgrading to 3.1.3 isnt in the instructions anywhere... why would you do something like that? If you plan on moving into the "modding" community the first thing you need to learn is to NEVER update firmware unless you have researched and know that it wont affect your ability to flash,mod, etc.

Probably, when it gets the the Itunes logo, you are supposed to have your IPT connected to pc, itunes on pc CLOSED and run blackrain. You need to run blackrain every time you reboot. hope this helps.

errmm.. im running the 3.1.1 still... but id imagine that if you wanted to upgrade to 3.1.2.. just download the official 3.1.2 update ( you can find it if you look ) and shift click restore in itunes and find the 3.1.2 firmware.. once itunes updates to 3.1.2.. just jailbreak using blackra1n like you did previously. enjoy.

yea my ipod touch 3rd generation 8 gig cant jailbreak for some reason because doesnt boot up after the geohot logo comes up. is there a way to fix this??

yes there is. Download the official firmware that you were running. Turn the ipod COMPLETELY off. Next step is hold the home button, while plugging in usb. this should bring up itunes. Itunes will now let you restore.

also i suggest only installing cydia. Installing cydia and icy at the same time is known to cause problems

I clicked on Make it Rain

My Iphone restarted

Then it froze at the image with u USB and Itunes, it never went to the picture of Geohotz... HELP!

It depends, go into Settings>General>About and look for your model number. People are saying if you got an 8gig 3G touch with the model number beginning with MC (ex.MC12345) are having problems. Mine is 32 gig 3G 3.1.1 out of box and it works but my model is also MC... : \

put up a warning about the ip3g 8gb model not working.

Those whos modellnumber starts with MC and have a 8gb should wait for a update (hopefully fixes this), else it just goes black after the first screen and a restore is needed thru itunes to get the ipt3 to work again.
