Karen was an angel on loan from Heaven just to sing briefly to us. We were blessed by her presence. She and Donny Hathaway were two great singers with amazing voices who left the earth way too soon.

I Can't listen to this song, without getting teary eyed. Karen just killed this song, she just sang the soul out of what this song is all about. It makes me think of friends & family that are long gone, and will never be back, but not because they don't want to be here.

so young? Had she lived longer, think of all the great

Karen was an angel on loan from Heaven just to sing briefly to us. We were blessed by her presence. She and Donny Hathaway were two great singers with amazing voices who left the earth way too soon.

There never was and never will be a voice like Karen's. So pure andwith such perfect pitch. So sad that she had to leave us. I still listen to her all the time.

There is no beating Karen's voice it is so clear and absolutely beautiful in its distinct style that separates her from all others though there are many great singers out there both male and female. Such a sad, sad end to a wonderful lady with a voice that could melt icebergs. We miss you Karen and we still love you!!!

i saw them live outside in Dallas 30 years ago, and they were fabulous. Such talent. She was taken way too soon. RIP Karen

I still recall the first time I ever hear Karen sing... on an Advertisement on TV.. for Bank of America I think... then it seemed like overnight the "Carpenters" rose to World Wide sucesss... though I love many Christmas Albums... it's Karen's that goes on first and embodies Christmas for me... saw them once live in San Francisco... wonderful... though not exactly Filmore and pretty square to admit back in the 60's
