It is so much better live. Mikkey is extremely talented. Another amazing drummer to me is The Rev from Avenged Sevenfold. Given his age he was definitely way past his time. Lars is not very good and I can't believe the direction Metallica is going with their music. I was disgusted with their new CD called Lulu and Death Magnetic wasn't very good. Each album from them gets worse.

Grew up with Peter Criss and Charlie Watts, so I'm far away from typical HM Bashers. Drumming is NOT an olympic disciplin, its about Groove & Swing, but : Mickkey Dee is the only one of this genre that I like to listen, he is unbelievable, he is fantastic! Awesome!

in know that a lot of comments come down to personal band favourites, Motorhead or metallica,

simple fact of the matter is that Mikkey Dee rules.

Lars could only dream of being as good as mikkey, perhaps if Lars lived another 10 lives he could come close to Mikkey, but i doubt it.

hands down, Mikkey Dee is the best rock/metal drummer alive.
