  • Nice. Thank you.

  • Empty space . . . I know what you mean mate. It's the gap between notes and feeling. I've been saying the same for years. First time I've heard someone else say it though.

    Nice one!

  • This is so beautiful and you make it look easy. Thanks for showing how great open D can be.

  • This is just great. Plays beautifully. Thanks so much. I love this song and you nailed it so very well. I would love to see more of Andy Kimbel music and learn more of your stuff if you get the chance. . . Or if anybody might have more of these that could be posted here maybe?

    Thanks again!

  • I want to learn to play like that... Where do I begin??

  • @TheDEMSRule enjoyable practice

  • You're relaxed and unpretentious approach to the guitar is a truth that works for me. I hope you stay with that relationship 'cos it's beautiful to watch and inspiring to hear. Thanks.

  • guaranteed goosebumps on dat open D.

  • Andy, I enjoyed the video. Love the song and play it myself. Open D is such a great tuning. It's hard to go wrong with it. I agree with your encouraging people to play the space. It's so important to add to the dynamics. Travis picking in open D is a blast. I've transposed so many tunes into open D now and use it for tons of things. I teach the tuning and encourage people to be creative with it. It makes life a lot of fun doesn't it?:)

You'll find my videos on here.
