The Kata he ran is called Seipai and is a Goju-Ryu form. He actually ran the Goju version instead of the trias version so I am curious where he got this one from. The Trias Shorei-Goju version is slightly different. Excellent Kata. This form is not a part of Shuri-Ryu and was taught much earlier in Trias Karate in Shorei-Ryu and Shorei Goju-Ryu.
This kata is Seipai, and an excellent run of it, but it is not Shuri-Ryu. Looks like a Shito-Ryu or Goju-Ryu version.
