  • Such a perfectly awkward scene. Lucy and Elinor:knowing everything. Marianne: knowing nothing. Edward: knowing everything without the knowledge that the others do. It was done so well; I always feel so bad for Elinor here no wonder she "bursts" at the end!

  • does anybody know where i can watch this version of Sense & sensibility full movie on youtube? pls??

  • Kate Winslet is amazing! She is only 19 here and she fits excellently with these three experienced performers.

  • Is it better not to know -- to exist in your dream? To wait, hope for and pray for the possibility of your heart's perfect home? To live with poise when there is no certain outcome of our longings?

Such a perfect portrayal of something we all experience...

  • Things unsaid... postponed by the intrusions of obtuse friends and relatives... clumsily loitering on sacred, private ground. The dam holds back an ocean of desire and confusion. A palpably tense longing to understand... but also the dread of what reality might be discovered when our heart is so very close to finding a permanent home in a deeply fulfilling relationship.

  • awkwierd!

  • I adore Kate Winslet! She is so amazing, especially after I have watched the new Marianne so much.

  • "Perhaps Miss Marianne, you think young man never honor their engagements little or great". How awful of Lucy to say something like that. She was really a bad intentionated person!!

    Love that scene!! : )

  • i liked elinors dress...

  • God that Lucy Steel..I can't stand her. How self controlled is Elinor! Poor her...but I love how she cut short Lucy "No I cannot"...

  • yea..you can really tell she is holding back on Lucy :-)Deep down, she probably wants to say how she feels to Lucy, but honors Lucy's promise to Edward. Lol...i know this is small, but the furniture in this scene is so so lovely. Lol. :-) The sofa and the mirrors are just lovely for the scene. I notice small things like that i guess. Haaa, if i ever got to meet Emma, i would tell her i just adore the time period furniture in this film. Lol. Have a great day :-) ((Hugs)))

  • so do I!!! (exept her dresses though. I knwo it's because she wanting to seem really 19th century girl, and I know it' sok when you watch the movie from A to Z, still, they could have done something about that!
