@N3CR1S Suberunker's titel for his amv was "still preocupied with 1985". the songs titel is 1985..so i was misstaken. Although, it only makes this feel even more as a "copy".

The only similarities I can really see are the song and the fact that it's centered around a teacher. The effects and anime are totally different.. doesn't seem like a copy to me.

1. Of course they would use the MTV logo if they wanted to. The song specifically MENTIONS MTV ._. You say that like Suberunker has copyright on MTV's logos when used in AMVs

2. 1985 is repeated in the song multiple times, herp derp.

3. Both use that analogy because the SONG REFERS TO THE WOMAN BEING STUCK IN THE PAST!

I think you're horribly misdirected in saying that one is influenced by the other. BOTH are influenced by the SONG. Hence AMV.
