In some cultures it's a tradition to dance in honour of the groom and bride. That's why she's dancing in front of the newly weds. And that's why you don't see any insulted faces amongst the guests.

When people stop dancing to the weddings, than the tradition will be lost, and this happened in al the countries in the world, where people started to be more "Western" and to not perfome their tradtional dances and the weddings. In Romania we had over 800 traditional dances, and today how many people know them?

I have Egyptian friends and I know full well what some Egyptian girls do in secret in a society that claims to be pure and where women supposedly do not provoke the lust of men. There are so many things that a woman can do to corrupt a man and dance can be the last of them because dancing is a way of expression.

In some cultures it's a tradition to dance in honour of the groom and bride. That's why she's dancing in front of the newly weds. And that's why you don't see any insulted faces amongst the guests.
As for showing off her body, it's called "belly dancing" and it's a dance from a different culture that you obviously don't know anything about.

@heresmystupidname I read some comments on this video and I think it's good to clarify some things since that first time I saw this clip on metacafe was a few years ago,since there was another video with the same girl but at the beginning of the wedding, when they repeat the Orchestra,the girl is not invited to the wedding but she is coming with those who sing at the wedding..that's why she is not wearing anything special and is dressed in jeans..her dancing is spontaneous, not programmed!

All this dancing is like to be an unplanned surprise from those of the orchestra,the girl is one of the best dancers that I've seen so far,is great and wholeheartedly congratulate,she has no one to blame for the groom's reaction, or unhappy bride,many here call her a whore or trash and a blame her a lot of things and I believe that all who do this are either jealous or stupid..it should not give any attention to these malicious comments,i just say: she is wonderful and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yoga is not a muslim tradition, is a hindu one. Why the Egyptians should quite their traditions and learn other people traditions? Yoga is not only some gymnastic classes you cand take, but yoga is part of a different religions than islam. So, why a muslim should learn yoga, instead of learning his own culture and his own tradition? All over the world, the artisans of the NWO, are trying to destroy the identity of nations, and this is why they attack bellydance in Egypt, yoga in India etc.

It is very nice of you to invite girls home to learn how to dance, but for that you need to have money. If you don't have, than you will not gone afford to invite anybody to your home. Since the majority of the people do not have money, the wedding parties are the place where they can see and learn how to dance. The weddings are the most important parties, where many people are coming and they have the opportunity to learn.

shiefster- this is the traditional way of transmiting a dance, from a generation to another one. This is not only in Egypt, but in all the country where people have traditional dances. When people stop dancing to the weddings, than the tradition will be lost, and this happened in al the countries in the world, where people started to be more "Western" and to not perfome their tradtional dances and the weddings. In Romania we had over 800 traditional dances, and today how many people know them?

idiot, this is an ancient tradition in Egypt, to have a woman dancing to the wedding for the Bride and Groom. It is like teaching the bride how to dance oriental=belly dancing. Bellydancing is very important because helps women to cotrol their abdominal and pelvic muscles and this is importand for giving birth safely. This is the purpose of this dance, to help women give birth easily and to prevent death wich can occure during delivery.
