You should definitely try C&C Generals and C&C 3 Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath. They're awesome. I still play Generals to this day.

D: this is sooo similar to Command & Conquer: Red Alert, which was released in the mid- 1990s i think. It looks like a mod, in that names are different, but the structure of the game works in the exact same way. Probably same developer...

maybe you should mess a bit with your monitor settings to see the full image, some monitors even have an "Auto Tune" button which basically detects your resolution and makes the full image visible, also if your monitor has a 16:9 ratio you should set in the "4:3 compatible" mode if it has that option to be more compatible with those really old games

And instead of wasting resources sending bikes to scout you should use actual scouts. They are fast, stealthy and very cheap

Also when you build more harvesters just build the upgrade to the refinery that way you get an extra space to unload spice you get an extra harvester and an extra carry-all.

I read the book Dune and found it vaguely dissapointing to be honest, there were fantastic concepts, but it just failed to take full advantage and I found it hard to visualise what was happening. Watching this though... well suddenly it seems a heck of a lot more interesting all of a sudden.
