Oh my gosh! Just as usual, Pete is such a jerk in this cartoon! Yay for Mickey being his sweet, adorable self! I love his little assurance at the end: "Just because I discipline ya, it doesn't mean I don't love ya." Awwwww. FabbyWas Here is right- Mickey would make an awesome dad. Can you imagine watching him and Minnie with their little mice? CUTE! And just for the record, I have seen "Mickey's Nightmare" where he and Minnie are married and have kids. LOTS of kids. :)

@FabbyWasHere Yeah. Most people would waste time giving a speech (I guess because it makes them feel superior), but Mickey doesn't. He's not all dramatic either. He's just short and to the point. And yes, I am talking about that thing... sticking out of the house. lol. It's never been shown what that is in any of the cartoons and I'm really curious about it. Maybe it is a storage room.

@Ardamess I know matey. My cats look a bit different without their collars on when we first had them. Now, we brought them some new shiny glittery collars so the pussies will be able to go out and about whenever they go next door. But the trouble is, the pussies really hate each other and other cats too (including poor Amber). I wish the pussies would stop fighting other cats and would be nice to them.

You're right about Mickey being a great dad, but actually Mickey and Minnie have been married since before 1933. I know this because I remember reading an article from 1933 where Walt was interviewed about the matter and he said that Mickey and Minnie were married they just acted out whatever roles the scripts called for. Unfortunately, the wedding never broadcasted in our world.
