  • Memories coming back to me 0-0 being like 6 years old and playing this game and not being able to answer like 95% of the questions, but still had a shit ton of fun for some reason lol

  • why is this guy talking during the video? im trying to listen to the music!!!

  • This game was awesome, I spent alot of time playing it as well when I was 8-9 even 10 years old until we got a new computer with a new platform.

  • Any idea where I can get this nowadays?

  • Oh, 5th grade. :P

  • I played this game too much that I knew the answers after looking at the first word of the question. HAHAHA

  • i miss this game...

  • Whose bright idea was it to put this in Encarta? Half the time I'd go to do research for class and wind up playing this instead. Cut to hours later and I still hadn't done any research.

But man do I miss it.

  • it's a dictionary type of thing??? fucktard

  • IT'S AN ENCYCLOPEDIA NOT A DICTIONARY XD

  • @VyoamA it's renaissance music, but it's all midi files. you should look for real renaissance music.

  • So many fond memories ^_^

  • "Encarta, which is a dictionary type of thing."

    You mean an encyclopedia?

  • I nostalgia'd hardcore :)

  • I'm yelling answers at the screen like Jeopardy O_o

  • Mind = blown.

I have looked for this everywhere. This game was hard at times but thank you for uploading.....

  • where can i get this cd or download it ?

  • I played this game at Christmas with my brother!! IT was fuckin' AWESOME!!!

  • which era did the music in the background belong to?..i know i've heard this many times, but i don't know which era exactly it belong 2 and what's it's name??

  • @netwiz2 it's an electronic version of renaissance music. the real music is 029348203984 times better.

  • For the nostalgic among you: I recreated Mindmaze using questions generated on-the-fly from Wikipedia pages. I tried to stay true to the classic nature of the game. You can play it in the browser or find it in the Apple Store. Have fun!

  • Holy shi-....

I used to go to the number translation page and click on the German six, "sechs". ROFL.

    Thank you, kind sir.

  • this was one of my favorite childhood computer games! i loved that I could play it all day and my parents encouraged me because it was "educational". Nothing at all like the garbage we have now : (

  • Ooooooooohhhhh yeeeeeaaaahhhhhh

  • "It came with Encarta, which is kind of a dictionary type of thing."

    You mean an Encyclopedia? FACEPALM

  • I miss this game! I used to play it so much in elementary and middle school. I came across this when I was looking to see if I can download. I still have the CD from the family Windows 98 PC, but I doubt it would install on Vista. I had like one level to go...

  • "Isaac Butt."

    *snickers*

  • This is nostalga-ing me to death.

  • Also, great idea for an LP! Great memories xD

  • (Also, you sound exactly like kipkay!)

  • It was loud because it used MIDI tracks ;)

  • Your narration is amusing. Mindmaze was amazing... I remember playing this on my Compaq 486.

  • I WANT THIS NOW.

  • anybody else move their mouse to get the pointer off the screen then realise it was the other dudes pointer

  • was really pissed off when I found out this was a trivia game.. I saw screens and thought it would be an epic fantasy rpg.

  • I would just LOVE 2 play this game again. Was so good 4 the time.

  • i remember having this in my elementary school... and randomly guessing through the maze :P (it was like 1st \ 2nd Grade )

  • I frigging loved this game too -- had a cool atmosphere

  • does this have an ending or does it keep on going and going

  • I really don't remember. ^_^ I actually think there might be an ending of sorts but it's nothing fancy. I could be totally wrong tho. O_o

  • @Arm4g3dd0nX - It does have an ending lol... though I don't quite remember what it was like, either hahaha xD

  • @Traductus5972

    Yes, it has an ending.....

  • @Traductus5972 You get through the levels to the top of the tower, the observatory or something, and there it ends.

  • @Traductus5972 There was an ending, but it was pretty low key. You just defeat the evil wizard or king or something, and then you get to start the game all over again.

  • i'm pretty sure all the general knowledge i have today comes from mindmaze and asterix books

  • :D

Wow! Kudos on the video. I was wondering if anyone had done a playthrough of this lol.
