i seriously can't believe how my life would have been if i hadn't read vampire academy. i love everything about the books that i cant put it in words.. i wish they would make a movie out of it even though it would be so disappointing to find it bad portrayed especially the characters and the little things they do that makes VA so special to me and everyone else. I hate that it didnt get its fair share of publicity like shitty sparkling vampires. i read all VA books many times and bloodlines too

i really wish they wouldnt make a movie out of this. the reason is its just gonna become low budget and poorly casted. it wont be recognized to anyone except for the books fans and if it does blow up the books will lose respect and made a fun of just like twilight. the odds of the movie turning out good is very unlikely but i still wish that it would. I can't remember where I read it from but I think the people that will be doing the Bloodlines is; Adrian, Jill, Sydney... It said you get glimpse of Dimitri in there which viewers might be excited about... All I know is that Sydney and Jill are the main points in bloodline.

Since Last Sacrifice was the last of Rose's vision she will do a few more in the eyes of people you don't normally see in the book like a book about Sydney a book about Jill and even a book about Adrian *I hope*

@almogmog Try Night World Series by L. J. Smith. Look for Fallen by Lauren Kate. I'm still reading it but I heard a lot about how awesome it is.
Mostly, L. J. Smith books have a lot of love and awesome male characters. I think you should give her books a look. I've read by her so far: Vampire Diaries (Love it!) and Night World Series (Love it!) and I have Forbidden Game but I still haven't read it yet, but I heard it's awesome.

@almogmog try the summoning series by kelly armstrong not as much sexieness but its a good read and if your up for a really intense story try the immortal books the first one is called evermore. i can give you a longer list if your still hunting (:

@almogmog EXACTLY im glad for her to be finished too, the way i see it the movies had a huge impact on stephanie meyer, no offence but i really hated breaking dawn and rob has his rare good looking moment but he's not verry attractive at all. its true about the house of night novels as well VA is a much better series and i had to really push to keep reading HON at one point because zoey was getting a little too sluty for me. but then i read stevie rae and refaim and found it REALLY interesting
@chickie171 Stevie Rae and Rephaim was probably the BEST thing P.C. cast could have done with those books. something impossible yet irresistible like that is exactly what was missing in the series. and about stephenie meyer, i honestly dont even remember breaking dawn anymore. the only thing i dont like too much about twilight is how cliche it is, the characters are very simple and normal, especially Edward, he was soo plain that i found him a little boring. @almogmog its interesting actually i finished it yesterday and your right about the action but it had a surprisingly large amount of drama and romance only it was in a sort of subdude kind of way. and the action helped to intensified all of the things you and i both seem to enjoy. making things more cmplicated. im going to get my hands on the second one next time im near a chapters or indigo. as far as books go it wasnt bad at all. and refreshing.

@superandyrocks VA is better than any book series written in the history of books. period. it has everything a person could read and i would spend my weekends with my nose in these books for hours and hours and i would cry for DAYS when stuff happened. And i'm not too sure about completely forgetting about twilight, im not really a twilight hater, im just a fan of any good book =] im hoping for good luck for Mead, if she even needs it.
@almogmog i agree with you, i dont usually let books affect me that much, i read harry potter and that was the only book i ever really got attatched to the characters and the world until a few years later i read a lot of series with sad moment but never enough to work me to tears untill the day when i read rose dropping to her knees as mason shook his head no that dimitri was niether dead nor alive.
@chickie171 oh god, that book was an emotional roller coaster for me. i literally sat in my bed and cried myself to sleep. The hardest part was that i couldnt get my hands on Blood Promise for the next couple days, so i spent those days thinking non-stop about Dmitri and Rose and all that pain and heartbreak and how it was never going to be the same. The way they fell in love understood each other and complimented each other was so realistic and emotional, Mead really brought them to life.
@almogmog haha a few days? i had to wait for her to write it. publish it and eventually borrow the car to drive to the city to buy it. as i did for the next three books to follow lol. it was so agonizing but well worth the wait

I can't wait to read Last Sacrifice. I love the titles she gives each of her books and I try to follow by her example with my own styles of writing. Only difference is I span across a wider variety of mythical creatures that no one has probably heard of. She's a great writing inspiration to me.
I dont understand why Twilight gets so much attention, when there are clearly so much better books out there, even better Vampire books like Mead's books, or the other ones. It feels so UNFAIR.
I really love these books, and I like the fact that the writers know so many think about Romania, I am from Romania, but it is strange to know that Romania is known as a land of vampires.
"Vampire Academy" was an awful book, hate on me if you want but the whole premises and storyline lacked a lot and it is better than twilight in fact every other vampire novel is better than twilight. but though this story is different it didn't catch me and failed in my opinion.

At least in this book, there are vamps that kill, drink blood, and don't give a dam about what others think. You can consider me a "twi-hater" someone who despises the twilight series movies

Last Sacrifice will be the last book about Rose, but it'll be followed by a spin-off series still set in the Vampire Academy world. Side characters we know from the current series will now be our main characters, and there'll be a whole new storyline (not the last one told from a different perspective). So far, there is no title or release date info for the new series. Expect it in 2012.

I haven't read "Fallen" yet, I'm still at chapter 3. But I heard it's a dark romance.
I read that "Night House series" is awesome as well. Mostly the ones who read Vampire Academy loved the Night House by PC Cast. I have the 1st volume (Haven't read it yet, I will next) How about it? :)

@almogmog EXACTLY im glad for her to be finished too, the way i see it the movies had a huge impact on stephanie meyer, no offence but i really hated breaking dawn and rob has his rare good looking moment but he's not verry attractive at all. its true about the house of night novels as well VA is a much better series and i had to really push to keep reading HON at one point because zoey was getting a little too sluty for me. but then i read stevie rae and refaim and found it REALLY interesting

@chickie171 Stevie Rae and Rephaim was probably the BEST thing P.C. cast could have done with those books. something impossible yet irresistible like that is exactly what was missing in the series. and about stephenie meyer, i honestly dont even remember breaking dawn anymore. the only thing i dont like too much about twilight is how cliche it is, the characters are very simple and normal, especially Edward, he was soo plain that i found him a little boring. VA has so many in-depth realistic ppl

@chickie171 i dont know, for me edward was just too perfect too nice too selfless i was looking for an imperfection in him the whole time lol. and yea i actually just finished awakened two days ago. Now i REALLY have nothing to read. and i heard of the hunger games, but it seemed like a whole lot of action and fighting, not much of drama and romance which is what i'm tottaly into so i never got to buying and reading it. @almogmog its interesting actually i finished it yesterday and your right about the action but it had a surprisingly large amount of drama and romance only it was in a sort of subdude kind of way. and the action helped to intensified all of the things you and i both seem to enjoy. making things more cmplicated. im going to get my hands on the second one next time im near a chapters or indigo. as far as books go it wasnt bad at all. and refreshing.

@superandyrocks VA is better than any book series written in the history of books. period. it has everything a person could read and i would spend my weekends with my nose in these books for hours and hours and i would cry for DAYS when stuff happened. And i'm not too sure about completely forgetting about twilight, im not really a twilight hater, im just a fan of any good book =] im hoping for good luck for Mead, if she even needs it.

@almogmog i agree with you, i dont usually let books affect me that much, i read harry potter and that was the only book i ever really got attatched to the characters and the world until a few years later i read a lot of series with sad moment but never enough to work me to tears untill the day when i read rose dropping to her knees as mason shook his head no that dimitri was niether dead nor alive.

@chickie171 oh god, that book was an emotional roller coaster for me. i literally sat in my bed and cried myself to sleep. The hardest part was that i couldnt get my hands on Blood Promise for the next couple days, so i spent those days thinking non-stop about Dmitri and Rose and all that pain and heartbreak and how it was never going to be the same. The way they fell in love understood each other and complimented each other was so realistic and emotional, Mead really brought them to life.

I can't wait to read Last Sacrifice. I love the titles she gives each of her books and I try to follow by her example with my own styles of writing. Only difference is I span across a wider variety of mythical creatures that no one has probably heard of. She's a great writing inspiration to me.

"Vampire Academy" was an awful book, hate on me if you want but the whole premises and storyline lacked a lot and it is better than twilight in fact every other vampire novel is better than twilight. but though this story is different it didn't catch me and failed in my opinion.

Last Sacrifice will be the last book about Rose, but it'll be followed by a spin-off series still set in the Vampire Academy world. Side characters we know from the current series will now be our main characters, and there'll be a whole new storyline (not the last one told from a different perspective). So far, there is no title or release date info for the new series. Expect it in 2012.
