And he totally likes Ranka better. It's super SUPER hinted at when Sheryl eavesdrops on Alto and Mikhail (where Alto says that he wants to be the one to kill Ranka. oh you Japanese and your sense of noble, tragic love...). Sheryl says that she knew it, but that she wouldn't really think about it lest she not be able to sing (if I remember correctly).

@thethessaliah Well. I assume that you´re talking about the movie Sayonara no Tsubasa? Cause I can´t really say that Alto rejected Ranka or Sheryl in the series. They kept it pretty basic with him going back and forth between the girls. Also in the end it isn´t concluded.

But that is the series. The movies are somewhat different I´d say.

@OverlordHB The movies were made to "conclude" the triangle. Actually, Kawamori said that it was supposed to end in the series, but Yoshino (the scriptwriter) convinced him to leave it "open" (even though he also mentioned Alto was confessing to Sheryl in episode 24 and they never really put effort to promote Alto/Ranka in their images and material. So lopsided).

I have to say that ranka and alto are better together. I don't like sheryl's personality. Sometimes she acts like a slut. For example in one episode, alto pushed her into his locker to hide her or else he'd get in trouble. When they were both in there, sheryl started to hump his leg.
