i don't understand i looked for the very first hadith that he mentioned in sahih bukhari in the book of fasting hadith number 1969....there is not such hadith in the book of fasting or in sahih bukhari at all. what is going on?
unfortunately he has a different hadith book compilation here is the hadith:
Volume 3, Book 31, Number 190:
Narrated 'Aisha:
Allah's Apostle used to fast till one would say that he would never stop fasting, and he would abandon fasting till one would say that he would never fast. I never saw Allah's Apostle fasting for a whole month except the month of Ramadan, and did not see him fasting in any month more than in the month of Sha'ban.

Do muslims really fast? Does Quran requires it? No, They are told to start by overeating the previous night ( till early morning next). This will lead to indigestion the whole next day and they cannot eat till evening when the feast and overeating restarts and they again overeat till next morning. This routine continues for one month. This is feasting, not fasting. If Islam is truthful,you would have fasted non-stop for a month, without overeating every night full.They commit Fraud on everyone.
