@jtdavies3 They are very efficient and water can be recycled and carried by up by a pump system ideally run on solar. Also they insulate the building they are planted on you could look up living roofs to see how that has been done for centuries. It certainly takes a little work and research but the payout in food, energy and aesthetics is great.
