i think this is a REALLY GOOD TOP 10~! im so glad you heard of Jennifer Batten, most people dont know her, and she deserves her credit! awesome job man!
LOL! Slash?? Van Halen?? Carlos Santana?? Jimmy Page?? I think you should listen blues instead of pop rock! Can you tell me where the fuck is Stevie ray vaughn? BB King? John Mayer? Why clapton is 10th, he should be 2nd or 3rd!
@5lil5jay5 This is my channel now btw it is TommyCislay! :P
I made this about a year ago so my choices would change, this was made at the time where all I played was guitar hero so my general music preference was that kind of thing! lol But now I listen to a lot of different styles however My top 3 would remain the same! Page was insanely influential and a fantastic guitarist creating memorable riffs and complex pieces just listen to Black Dog and Stairway To Heaven & Santana = king of smooth :P
well you have number one right. brian mae is good but no where near clapton. slash is garbage..van halen can suck a fat cock. zakk wylde really should be on here. and number 2 should be SRV
Eric Johnson I have to agree that SRV should be on there.
Steve Vai
I agree with the basis of most of your picks but the XXManD0 has it right. To each his own. The problem is if you ask a hippie you'll get Jerry or Tray and if you ask a metal head you'll get Darryl or Kirk. I've got some personal favorites that most people wouldn't even know. Thanks for the vid. It was a good compilation.
to be honest it was angus's bands fault that he is not here, making him play obvious riffs time and time again which all sounded the same! He is a great guitarist though!
ok what the hell hendrix wasnt really even that good. if u look at way people think he was good was because at the time the people were stoned and it was fast. he is in the top ten but there is no way he is better then eddie and jimmy.
I wouldnt agree with that as people today find his music out of this world, he had an aurora about him in the same way that slash does, he is in my opinion the most innavative guitarists ever!
carlos santana was nothing ha ha ha ha ha 2 words yous havent mentioned yet rory gallagher its a straight between him and hendrix for number 1 cant believe how under rated rory gallagher the genius is
what the hell tom? 1.Carlos Santana is both evil and a sucky guitarist, no way No.4 2.none of Jennifer Battens songs were written by her 3.Randy Rhoads? 4.David Gilmour? 5.Tony Iommi? 6.Angus Young? 7.Ritchie Blackmore? 8.Stevie Ray Vaughn? 6.Brian May bores me. big style. 7.I'm running out of space 8.I love you.
right rossco! 1. Carlos Santana is Mr Smooth, enough said! 2. This video is not about writing songs! 3. Randy Rhoads is awesome however i could not include him in this list due to lack of spae. 4. no 5. no 6. no 7. no 8. good but no 9. Brian May was one of few guitarists who really put their feelings into their music! 10. no you still have over 100 characters still left to use! 11. Thanks XD
thanks! But i definately think page is not overatted he's awesome, his innovative style inspired other great guitatarists like Eddie van Halen, and no one can nick the top spot off Hendrix i mean he was God! =P
Brian May should be no.1 and also wasn't the 'beat it' solo originally done by EVH? I know that Jennifer Batten did live performances for Michael jackson but not the original recording.
Brian May is awesome i just dont think he has the reputation to be number 1 as hendrix does. Yea EVH did the original i just liked Jennifers version of it and its one of her most famous appearences.
What about Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and Randy Roads?

EVH wrote the solo to beat it so....

I think so, they are the 10 best guitarists. But i don´t think that Erick Clapton is before Van Halen, Jenifer Batten, oder Slash.
