one stupid question: how do you manage to play the bass with your index finger? You also play fingerstyle guitar so you have longer nails on your right hand , don't you?

@tubegucker1 actually a 100% good question, very observant. I do indeed have long nails, and so I angle my finger a bit so the tip is pointed a little towards the bridge and I avoid using the nail.

@GlennMosby Thanks, it's a Kala U-Bass. it's the size of a baritone ukulele but its fretless and the strings are essentially made of rubber.
