Most of you are probably too young to know this, but what these "immigration advocates" fail to tell you is that America ALREADY gave US citizenship to the illegal aliens. The conservative Republican president Ronald Regan gave them all citizenship back in the 1980's. Just like today, amnesty was touted as the solution to our immigration problems. Guess what happened. In the decades that followed, America saw the largest influx of illegal immigrants in the history of this country.
Even if we make all the illegals US citizens, they will still hate us. There will always be somebody who doesn't have US citizenship yet. And Americans will always be racist no matter how many of them we take in. Our country is physically too small for all the people in the world to live here. So we will always be called racist because there will always be somebody who isn't a US citizen.

In the 1980's, there were manual labor jobs that paid $20-$30 per hour. And that's in 1980 dollars which were worth about two of today's dollars. Now those same jobs pay $8 per hour because the mexicans will accept $8.

My parents immigrated legally to the U.S. so they could have a better life. They followed all laws and procedures. Why should illegal immigrants be allowed to come to the U.S. without following rules like my parents had to do? It's not fair, it's like rewarding people for breaking the law.
