WoW! Hell Yeah! Love The Raconteurs! Been listening to The Raconteurs, Hey You!, My Chemical Romance, Sick Puppies, No Doubt, and Blink-182....
Hey You! is still pretty new, but they're waaay dope. Pop/Rock/Punk with a real cool edge. Plus they've got a cute chick singer :-) .....check em out.....
The sound quality here is appaling .This song is on a limited edition live CD of their Nottingham 23/10/06 2006 show, which is superb. And as for the comment about " learn to play the drums" I can't honestly think of a better drummer around than Keeler . Having heard a proper recording of this, it's the horrendous quality of the recording not the playing that's at fault.
Wow I didn't know that The Raconteurs did a cover of this song and I also didn't know that Jack White of The White Stripes was also in this group. Well I did know that Arthur Lee is one of Jack White's Idols.
the hellacopters version is exactly as good as the original

I like Jack White too...a weird choice but cool that he did it. I think he needs to stop using that octave pedal.

I used to like Jack White ... shame on him for screwing over a great song

Fuckin hell! Learn to play the drums properly before you attempt to rape an amazing tune!

1. You can't even hear the drums in this song.
2. Patrick Keeler is better than you will ever be. Just listen to more than one cover by The Raconteurs in better quality. Sorry. Just a fact.

praise the lord of rock n roll I say,
your 100% on the sound, unfortunatley there's no control over the record volume on my casio exilm cam.

yes, indeed. Sorry I made quite a rude comment about the sound quality, I was annoyed about the idiotic comment by tanman62 .
solveig1759 2 years ago
the distortion is cronic, but i imagine the volume is immense, the bits undistorted sound like they are singing the words of a prophet :)
