I use a program that simulates a nintendo chip, it's called famitracker and you should check it out if you are interested in learning more about 8-bit you should absolutely download it. Anyway, my point is that: no, you are wrong. With just a little bit of tweaking you can put this song on an actual Nintendo. Have you ever heard the classic soundtrack to Mario bros 3 on the NES? It has tons of sampled drums, exactly like the ones I'm using.
