Adorable! I love how they actually seem to know the beat. We have a dancing cockatiel... funny thing is he dances sometimes when there's no music! 0_o
Wooow, he looks exactly like one I had when I was little. I miss mine like crazy noo lie. </33 Does anyone know the name of the type of bird he is?? Add me or message me if anything. (:
I may have attacked the wrong person. My bad. I have a Conure just like him I love it!!! I also have a Cockatiel. And a mentally disabled Pomeranian. Let me scroll and see what I was bitchin about that day. I was on my high horse for something. Sorry if I offended thee. :( I bow my head in shame and ask forgiveness!! I just opened my email by the way. Raising 2 toddler grandkids get to ya sometimes.
Love the conure's head bobbing and foot tapping! As for the human singing, any parrot owner who interacts with his pet will attest to the fact that parrots who've bonded with their owners don't care if the humans sing in a perfect pitch or key. Their attempt is enough to insipre the birds to participate! This is an instant favorite and thumbs-up-voted video!
@Nennine if you say so. But may I just say that you were the one who took the time to leave a comment telling someone to jump into a lake. Maybe some self-reflection is in order?
@cmparten lool i cnt belive some people are so sad they sit threw the whole vid then leave a comment talk about NO LIFE :L but awhh hes so cuteeee =] parrots sure do love music mine are fussy dnt like rap but like things like alvin and the chipmunks tho xD
@rockypets Thank you for your nice comments! I am ashamed to say that he/she does not have a real name. Bird/Birdie has always sufficed. But he/she has never lacked for love or attention, and now, we have a second Nanday Conure and they have a new, HUGE cage and seemed to be joined at the hip. The new Nanday is named Houdini however, because he/she has escaped their cage a few times, lol.
Thanks again, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! : )
Wow, what's up with all these haters these days? The main focus of the video is the bird, not the girl. They just look for something to complain about -_-
@TDoWEBSoCOM People don't sing (for fun in the privacy of their own home) because they are excellent singers. They sing because it is joyous to do so. You are clearly not joyous. Go spread your hate elsewhere. :)

@cmparten The "privacy of your own home" is not private at all when you upload it to a website that has millions of visitors daily. Your singing is awful, and you should go swimming in the Gulf of Mexico.
@bigbagron I do go swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, courtesy of the beaches of South Padre Island, unaffected by the oil spill. May I point out, the purpose of the video was to share with those who might be interested the amusing abilities of my pet bird. If I were trying to showcase my admittedly awful singing I would have titled the video as such. Good day, asshole. :)
Sure. Let me just go back into the past and not sing. Thanks for the advice. I didn't originally make the video for youtube, I made it for my own personal enjoyment, hence the terrible singing that you hear. My bird does this all the time, this time I just decided to video it...
Try putting your conure on your finger and going up and down with the beat of the music. My Blue Crown Conure Avis loves that and really gets going then!
LOL I am sorry, I am amused by this. Actually, the red is in fact his feathers. Nanday Conures exhibit bright red ankle feathers. Although he does also have an ID band. It is silver and I have no information on the ID code as I found my bird in a tree in our backyard. I would love to learn when and where he (not actually sure if it is a "he") was imported/ quarantined, though!
That is great! My Nanday does the foot-tapping, too! Only he does it to bluegrass music. I wish I had a video of it, but when I try to film him, he stops. He doesn't like the camera too much.
