You can email Manitou USA and they'll send you a small part to replace in the fork to stop it - but its perfectly normal.

Is there anyway to fix this problem? I use the R7 as well and find it very irritating to listen to. Thanks a-lot for replies:)

there's no fix, because it's not a "problem"
maybe run a higher pressure with no platform?
That's what i do. I weigh 85kg and ride aggressive xc. With about 70PSI in it feels perfect, then just lock out for the climbs. I find the recommended 60% of body weight renders the no platform setting wayyyyy too soft.
Hope this helps.

Thanks a-lot! I'll try 70PSI too. 85kg is about my weight aswell so i guess it should work for me too.
"Safe" riding!
Cheers
hi there
this is english
i have the same fork - that is no problem
it is just the inside of the fork working :)
Manitou is sending some "fix kits" to solve this noise. The new models are alredy updated and they now have 7 cliks instead 5 cliks in ABS.
If your fork have 5 clicks contact Manitou to receive the kit. :) In Brazil anyone is receiving this kits yet...

Ainda não resolvi. Me falaram q pode ser baixo nível de óleo no retorno. Nesse fim de semana vou colocar mais óleo e ver se resolve.
