  • @UnseenAGT I want you to know that God loves you.

  • @MormonsLoveFamilies You can't troll with god, you'll lose every time bro. According to the mormons, god loves all his children, but he prefers the white males, he loves them more than the gays and the females, whom although the mormons say he loves, we all know actions speak louder than words. Whether god loves me or not is irrelevant to the fact that the mormon god is a pedophile (in bishops interviews, LDS asks if they masturbate) so in other words my friends- the mormon church is BAD NEWS.

  • @UnseenAGT God still loves you.

  • @MormonsLoveFamilies I tried the LSD church for one time in my life, it got me to see that Love still god's ME. and that your statement "god loves you" is actually backwards. Its love that gods over me I think you said. I explained this to my bishop and then he told me that I had joined the wrong church. He basically implied that LSD is for HIS type and not for me, because it had brainwashed me to confused love and god, and then I quit the church, so now I'm an ex-mormon.

  • Last week, we reported that 71 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) have served with the USNS Comfort's Continuing Promise 2011 mission. Our article briefly mentioned that 11 of the 71 volunteers have been on the ship for the entire five-month journey. The ship has visited nine countries throughout Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

  • @TehCorruption NO, I'd MUCH rather sacrifice you! But none in my pantheon of darkness would accept such a profane individual as yourself as a worthy sacrifice. You're a MUCH better candidate for the garbage dump IMO. It SUCKS to be you LOL:)

  • LDS culture is replete with strong male role models, from church leaders to famous athletes to politicians, but LDS women often seem to blend in a bit more. A new book by Brigham Young University professors Susan Easton Black and Mary Jane Woodger, "Women of Character: Profiles of 100 Prominent LDS Women," strips away some of the camouflage.

  • @omiolo I like Susan Easton Black.

  • Isa 63:3 "I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment."

Isn't Holland using this verse out of context? As the end of the verse shows - it's a reference to Jesus treading the winepress of GOD's wrath on a Christ-rejecting world in the last days. It doesn't apply to Jesus suffering, but that of those who deny Him.

  • @RPM11111 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

  • @MormonsLoveFamilies On the one hand I find religions more sympathetic that teach the concept of an all-loving god as opposed to others that tell me that I,as an Atheist, will burn in hell for all eternity. On the other hand,I find the concept of an all-loving god pretty disturbing, too. Would a god who loves all his children let thousands of children starve to death in Africa alone every single day? If I was a parent and had lost a child this way, and a missionary would tell me that god loves me,

  • @IAMLOST "I find religions more sympathetic that teach the concept of an all-loving god "

As an atheist that would be more pleasing to your ear.

God loves EVERYONE, whether or not he/she is a believer. Why does the mormon church teach otherwise? Because it is not a Christian church! It is a cult!

  • It should be noted that a logical fallacy doesn't mean that a conclusion is false. Archaeologists haven't found evidence of ancient New World Alien Wombats, either, but most people wouldn't argue that they exist despite the lack of archaeological evidence. As noted last week, the strength of the Book of Mormon is in an accumulation of many evidences from various disciplines (just as we find in most areas of science and scholarship).

  • Occasionally, I read some critic who claims that archaeological evidence contradicts the Book of Mormon or has proven it to be fiction. This is both silly and a classic example of the logical fallacy known as "denying the antecedent." The problem, of course, is that archaeologists haven't found everything there is to find from ancient America.

  • @Shulamitefire Why do all "real Christians" that like Shawn Mc what's his name have to be sarcastic?

  • @Dalessiokiller One reason for sarcasm I surmise is because of LDS smythology... twistology of theology, sedition of addition, infusion of confusion & false witness members of the Monson movement of Moroni boastfully, blatantly bear frequently & systematically against the blessed & beloved body & bride of Christ,. Yes, that might on occasion give rise to some sarcasm...

  • @Shulamitefire I see you're a poet too. Here try this, you might get better responses: "But speaking the truth in LOVE, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ" Of course truth for you might mean something different to another.

  • @Dalessiokiller Thank you. I would lay equal emphasis on TRUTH. The LDS church bearing FALSE witness against the churches Is Not Love; it is pride & presumption. And Mormon folk wonder why they are not embraced as Christian or why in every Christian bookstore writings regarding them are found in the section designated for the cults. Even their scriptures like the JWs lie against & slander the churches. Suppose you talk to me about love manifested & demonstrated when one wants to exit Mormondom.

  • The entire LDS framework is foreign and strange to any Bible student. It's convenient that the parts that they say were "plain and precious" but that the almighty, sovereign God somehow allowed to be lost or taken from His word are the very points of contention between them and mainstream Christianity. I personally could not worship a god who was at the mercy of the whims and desires of His creations.

  • @apologeticsman "LDS framework is foreign and strange to any Bible student"

But NOT strange to the teachers and the professors.

  • @omiolo the Bible doesn't teach us to have professors, but there are teachers, and I am one of them. I teach what God's word teaches, not what some church dictates to me, and not what I want it to say. I suggest that LDS people do the same.

  • @apologeticsman "the Bible doesn't teach us to have professors"

yet, when God told Joseph Smith that the Professors of religion were corrupt during his time, many ANTImormon EVANGELICALS use that as an excuse to ATTACK Mormon Christians. You really can NOT have it both ways.

  • @omiolo Ok, I misunderstood your meaning. Yes, Joseph Smith did say that all "professors" i.e. those who profess faith were an abomination. Who wouldn't be insulted and annoyed by a statement like that, especially coming from someone as obviously wicked as Smith? I think it's almost funny that LDS people (at least to your face) have softened that statement and have tried to make it seem as though what JS meant, and what they believe is that we are "missing plain parts" of the word, and --cont

  • @apologeticsman "i.e. those who profess faith were an abomination"

NOPE, use the other definition of professor.

  • @omiolo and not that we are all an abomination to God. I'll tell you what's an abomination to God, any doctrine or teaching that depletes/lessens the simple plain truth of the gospel, that all who place total and sole faith in Jesus will be saved and have passed from death to life. That is not only LDS doctrine, it is the doctrine of all Ecclocentric religious organizations, i.e. organizations that focus on the role of men in the church as supreme, while placing Jesus as an equal or lesser part

  • @apologeticsman "I'll tell you what's an abomination to God"

it doesnt' matter right? ALL you have to do is have faith and you are saved. Who cares about abominations.......

  • @omiolo God does.

  • @apologeticsman "God does."

and so the Shawn McCraney's of the world don't.

  • Shawn is honest, which is something Mormons could learn from. The Bible tells us that "if we acknowledge our sins, He is faithful to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, but if we say we have no sin (i.e. have not and do not sin) we are a liar, and His word is not in us" Mormons talk a lot about having to repent, but they don't talk about the fact that they continue to sin, even after repenting. Someone who claims to have licked sin is a liar. Shawn admits his faults.

  • @apologeticsman "Shawn is honest"

Most drug addicts and ADULTERERS are. By ANTImormon definition, ADULTERY means honesty.......

  • you seem to be stuck on the "anti Mormon" thing, & it has become a crutch that Mormon people use to avoid the very real possibility that there are flaws in their history, doctrines & scriptures. It's easy to bite the hand that feeds you, but harder still to listen to what someone has to say. There are people out there that are motivated by things other than love when they address LDS people, but I don't think Shawn is one of them. He's telling you that we are all sinners & can't save ourselves

  • @apologeticsman "you seem to be stuck on the "anti Mormon" thing"

really, it seems like it is THEM that seem to be stuck on us. Especially the EVANGELICAL types, who turn a blind eye to the collapse and severe problems of their own faith so that they can ATTACK the Mormon Christians. They seem to take that radical Muslim approach.

  • @omiolo You make me laugh... you actually think that every Christian who walks free without the shackles of Mormon weighing & wearing them down is an E※V※A※N※G※E※L※I※C※L※E. Maybe omiolio you are an evangelical in embryo? :-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • @Shulamitefire "Oh, you do, you really make me laugh"

I have this feeling that you do NOT really laugh.

  • @apologeticsman "you seem to be stuck on the 'anti Mormon' thing, & it has become a crutch that Mormon people use to avoid the very real possibility that there are flaws in their history, doctrines & scriptures." Well stated, my brother in arms.

If you disagree with or have a laugh on them they say you hate them & your anti-Mormon. I'm not anti-Mormon; but I certainly am ant--Mormonism. Every healthy Christian upon discovering the Truth in the Bible & by the Holy Spirit is anti- Mormonism.

  • @Shulamitefire "If you disagree with"

Stephen, We SIMPLY want you to be HONEST. But that seems to be TOO much to ask especially from the EVANGELICALS. Shawn McCraney has taught you well.

  • @omiolo Thanks for the laugh. Here's my question to you: Are you actually so Mormon mindwashed that you think that you are upping your chances at least a little so as to be to allowed to hang about with a Mormon god, any Mormon god, in the life hereafter ----- by your prolific copy & paste practice here on earth? Yes?

Even so, you're worth praying for those strongholds built up in your stinking thinking to come down that you may pass from darkness into life AND ENJOY KING JESUS FOREVER. :-))))
