Back in the 80's malathion was sprayed in some of the residential areas in the San Fernando Valley. It was really hot weather. You had to stay inside. If you had no AC it was uncomfortable. Cars, roofs, walkways and the street got covered in what looked like corn syrup after the helicopters flew over and sprayed.
