For those interested Alpine will shortly be releasing an updated version if this processor in the way of the PXA-H800 which will be similar to the H700/H701 but will differ with it's ability to be tuned automatically (Audessy MultiEQ) and a few more hi end features. It's already picked up a CES innovation product award & it does look impressive! Just waiting to see it's exact details before I go ahead and buy one.
It's release date for Australia is april, I think it has already been released in
Dubiboy22, the PXA-H700/PXA-H701 can't be bought brand new as they are discontinued. Your best bet is to check the "for sale" thread on car audio forums. I bought mine second hand online for the sole purpose of running a full active 3 way front-stage & it's a very nice processor too, more so when utilizing the digital input...
RHardwood30 I just had a look at my processor and I'm thinking you mean the plastic connector, if so then the configuration is as follows: (Looking at the connector front with the lock/release tab on top) (left to right)
I'm not to sure about the power connector. Has the pin broken off inside the processor, it may be worth taking it to an Alpine authorized repair center to check this issue. Good luck.
Can you do a more indepth on the power connector, mine has been damaged and I need to pin configuration. i.e. where the earth is etc. I have 2 pins missing but can't figure out what they are.
The good thing about this processor is if you want to take it to the next level you can get the H700/H701 moded... yes modified! There are a number of various upgrade levels you can have done to this processor starting with the replacement of the analog stage and for the more serious audiophile you can get the clock re-done, I will eventually get everything internal moded in due time, just thought I might share for those interested...
Coupedeville23, yes you can use the PXA-H700 via Ainet for your 9886 but bare in mind that the best results are gained when this processor is used with an optical input such as an Alpine DVD screen. I will be using my H700 with my flagship CDA-7998R in a 3 way active front stage.

Top middle: Remote out
Top right: Guide control (navigation)
Bottom left: Remote ON
