I don´t play on nightmare only normal but, a great group I know is Wynne AW/SH, Alistair templar/chump, Leliana bard/ranger and warden berserk/chump. Set good tactics and you rarely need to pause or change char even when stunned or can´t do anything I stick in my char just waiting it out.
