What a great song!!! People like to laugh about Keith Moon's craziness, but I think they forget what a great musician (and apparently songwriter) he was
Yeah haha. The only that doesn't make sense is that this song came out in 1966. The Beatles hadn't made too many of their songs with secret messages until 67. Hmm. Weird.
I heard how Keith Moon tried to imitate John Lennon, but I think he sounds like some other British Invasion singer like Colin Blunstone from the Zombies.
Actually he was trying to Mock john because he thought that in their songs the beatles were speaking in a secret launguage about him and the rest of the who, who were in stiff competition with them(as well as the stones)
Great song!!!!

Moon Reminds Me Of Ringo Starr. How? He is the drummer, barely sings and the joker

@youbemissy
In the Beatles, I'd rather say that John was the joker

@Grafietstift Your right John was the joker

@youbemissy Ringo Starr and Keith Moon were best friends and Keith taught Ringo's son Zak to play drums

youbemissy-
Actually, Ringo sang in at least one song per album. I don't know what you're talking about when you say he barely sings.

What on earth is he saying at 1:12? probably some type of Beatle slam, right? The first two words sound like George and Gingo (? lol)

@jessieiskoo
Keith loves The Beatles, he's just trying to do sort of add a bit of a Beatles' influence, like how they add little messages in their songs.
