What's great is that when you get to the temple, surely enough the big doors are closed and those chains are still there but there's an unlocked side door in plain sight just a few yards away. I guess the wizards didn't have enough mojo to get that one.

i could never get the game to work on my computer.  Returned it and got a new copy and still would not start up on my computer. Plus the help desk seems to be dead never got a response from them all well =/

indeed. i stubled across this game a few weeks ago and had to try it. after hours of troubleshooting i managed to get it working with Vista. !st dont download to programs folder - anywhere else is better. 2nd use the windows xp compadability in preferences. I also managed to get Co* working and its simply sublime!

When I saw this game in the store I thought it looked like a cheap pile of crap. Then I bought it out of sheer boredom. Now I'm sorry to say that I wish I had a better computer to run it properly >:D

The funniest part is once you get to the temple you see the door is still chained like the wizards left it, but there's a side door in plain sight right around the corner.

Indeed, there is a door around the side. However, the big door is marked with all sorts of warding spells, and there are many other locations which are also warded with sigils to bind the demon. They were unable to banish Zuggtmoy (mostly because of heavy losses for the forces of good), so they did what they could and imprisoned her until something could/needed to be done about her.

I've been doing PnP ToEE for years,and the computer game lives up to it, for the most part, aside from the bugs

that game was fun. but what pissed me off is i got a game error right before entering the last level to fight the last boss. All that work, to get stuck with an error i couldnt fix. Very anti climatic. heh.

Did you try the fan fixes and the CO8 mod? It takes out all the bugs, adds in the censored content, and is chock full of mods that the fan community added. New spells, level limit of 20, more challenge, fewer bugs :)
